    💕 ⚡ / 🌅
    This is a rare one.
They've only performed this one three times.
I'm sure BABYMETAL's Kami Band was happy to take up the challenge of performing this one live.
Su's range on the 'Metal Galaxy' album blows me away.
Every song shows off something different about her vocal abilities.
It's not surprising that she spent more time in the studio for this album than for either of the first two.

Brand New Day is on my top 10 list for Babymetal songs and is my phone ring tone. It's definitely the more pop of their songs, but the lyrics of the song is full of positivity, that helped me through some bad times. When Su says "Everything's going to ok, alright" I'd believe it. 🤘🦊🤘

Su's and Moa's vocals and harmonies are just perfect and the courography is great even the little things as taking little steps as they sing step by step i think is another one of the reasons that makes BabyMetal so unique. There commitment to detail to make a great performance . ❤😁🤘🦊🤘

This song was a surprise gem on the Metal Galaxy album for me. It has quickly become one of my favourites. I didn‘t know Polyphia at the time (and I still don‘t know much), but I find the rhythmic complexity very interesting. Especially in combination with the calm, reduced instrumentation during the verses and Su‘s great voice, it’s very interesting. From what I have heard, this is pretty much Polyphia‘s sound, and I‘ll definitely look into them at some point.

Welcome back & thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 Brand New Day is the suitable song for fresh start of the day. This song has been so far performed only 3 times on stage. Very fortunately I witnessed all of them. Please say "Lucky you!" ヽ(^o^)丿.
We could see the girls' silhouettes only in most part of this song, but it was enough. Kami Band's paly was full of elegance, figures of Su, Moa & Momoko (at Budokan) were exquisite and, more importantly, Su's voice had celestial beauty.

Good to see you're back Bobby 🦊🤘
This song got the collaboration of Polyphia guitarists, Tim Henson and Scott LePage. Recently Polyphia got a viral clip when they were performing live and having an issue with the drummer IEM not working and a roadie had to help in a unorthodox way to save the show, highly recommend clip.
The dance on this song is beautiful, they're showing another mature side song.
Song is inspired on certain "City Pop" band and Utada Hikaru songs, when SuMetal heard this she doubt about this being a metal song but then the guitars solo were added and all make senses suddenly.
The third backup dancer or avenger in this 10 BABYMETAL Budokan 2021 is Momoko Okazaki.
Keep enjoying BM songs and see you next time 🦊🤘

I saw that video of Polyphia's drummer and the crew member acting as his click track. I didn't know the guitarists collaborated on this song.

Wanted to inform you that any reaction from the Budokan 2021 Will have Amazing stage and light performance, but you won't truly Hear the crowd due to COVID recstrictions.
Crowd was only allowed to clap, Jump or wave. No mosh, no sing, no Scream. So BabyMetal crew, to keep atmosphere how It usually Is during their shows, recorded crowd noise from other previous shows they did, and put It on a backtrack.
Going back to their stages, would you like to see the MOST spectacular show they ever did? Then you should watch their Introduction to the show Legend S in 2017, you can find It on the reactor resource, look for "In the Name of" live at Legend S 😁

👍 Yes sir great to see you again.
Brand Bew Day is my favorite BabyMetal song. Suzuka can take any genre and make it her own.

Great reaction. This was a collaboration with Tim Henson and Scott Le Page, the guitarists from Polyphia, a prog rock band based in Texas, so maybe that is where you are getting those associations for the bands you mentioned and yes it isn't like other BABYMETAL songs, but then again can you really say any of their songs are typical BABYMETAL.
I guess what could be considered almost typical for them in this one is that it is a very uplifting and optimistic song lyrically.
That is a real shame about 'Onedari Daisakusen' - Black BABYMETAL at their most devastatingly kawaii best. Maybe do another review (rather than a first reaction) to a different performance that won't be blocked for that?

Damn. I almost forgot to comment on this. This was the last reaction I watched last night and woke up this morning with this song stuck in my head. I don't think I've seen this version before either. Well done as always.

    Great reaction, thanks!
    Bummer about "OD" getting blocked.
And yep, this is a rare one... but somehow Su's vocals totally works for me. I've said it many times but her versatility is just mind blowing.
    See you next time!

Babymetal did play a full arena show at The Forum (Inglewood, California) on October 11, 2019. Officially sold out at 17,500 seats. That was also the official release of the Metal Galaxy album.

I've heard about that but I'm not sure they'd sell out arenas all over the US. I hope I'm wrong.

Probably Babymetal's least metallic song, so less in my wheelhouse when it comes to Babymetal songs, but if the guys from Polyphia said it's like a Polyphia song with Japanese vocals, then I'm happy. :-) Polyphia is great, technically amazing, but it's not Babymetal in my heart.
Yes, production value is amazing at a big show, but a smaller show is more intimate, which I and many fans actually prefer.
So a smaller show in the US (they had one big production show in the US so far: The Forum 2019, near LA).
