  • This video is a continuation of my previous one, where I demonstrated the process of sculpting this mask. In this installment, I showcase the steps involved in processing my three resin prints using the exceptional high-clear resin from Anycubic, which, in my opinion, is the finest clear resin available. Initially, I encountered a minor issue while working with the resin, owing to my own error in surpassing the settings mentioned in the previous video. However, I have since resolved the issue and am eager to share my experience with you. ‪@ANYCUBIC3D‬

    I love the clarity of this resin and its anti-yellowing properties when cured, but in my limited experience it is SUPER temperamental when it comes to shrinkage and temperature variations between the vat resin and ambient air. I had to get a 3D printer tent from Creality so I could take off the dome to my Saturn 3 Ultra and place the printer in a more stable & controlled environment with active airflow + filtration.
    At $34 for a 1kg bottle it's a bit pricey, so I'm trying out a $20 bottle of Elegoo ABS-like 3.0 transparent resin to see how it performs comparatively.

      Dang that's a whole lot thinking. Yeah have fun printing with different ones. I just throw shit in the vat and Letz go.

    Hi, I love your works! Just wondering if it's even possible to know what are some settings that you had for making these masks. I'm first time user and wanting to try to print out clear parts for my design but not sure what settings I should use for it.

    Did you just use a hear gun near the IPA? I'm nervous about that shit being so flammable 😅

    • @abovewongart
      @abovewongart  Год назад +1

      I tuck away the ipa most of the time under in the cabinets before I use the heat gun. I have fire extinguishers everywhere and also great Insurance. It is a true worry for sure

      Right now only sell the 3D file for other 3D print enthusiasts to print at home for the moment.

    I find this impossible to print with. No clear instructions anywhere

    • @abovewongart

      I hit my resin with a uv flashlight and counted how many seconds it takes to cure. I set my exposure to 5 seconds per layer. Clear resin is so clear that uv light sometimes travels right through it

    I'm surprised that none of these masks show up any of the conventions at the lv convention center. I know so many people there who would go ape shit over these.
