I love the Red Vox song that goes: Been looking for something, in the middle of the street.... an addictive devotion... TO FEET
Mr. Tarantino, is that you?
@@chuckporter9526 yeah, yeah, sonic feet, yeah
This was actually my #1 song of the year LMAO
@@glorimona Jokes aside its my top song from red cocks
Same I also love the song where he says choking on the sprite
i am a brazilian who was 0.5% top listener of red vox. BRASILLL SIL SIL SIL
Red vox was my top artist.
And spotify told me I like clowncore... Coincidence?
Clown Vomit
Clowncore is real? HUH
More like Vinnycore
spotify told me I spent 8,875 minutes listening to red vox this year. and honestly it was awesome. I really love the music and cant wait for afterthoughts to be released
Lol, when you use a comma it reads like 8 minutes and 8 seconds
@@RasmusKudahl A total of 1.45890411 seconds per day, very impressive, they must really love their music :)
lol I was 7.6k shout out to you for also being obsessed lol
@@RasmusKudahl I don't know what's worse, non-american numerical notation, or how you didn't round up 8 seconds to 9 seconds.
@@JaMaMaa1 I apologize, what was I thinking?!
God, you just hear those chimes and you know it's Return the Call even before the beat starts ♡
Vinny, you, Mike, Joe, and Bill have made some extraordinary music. I have only known Red Vox since Realign but ever since then I have been listening to every album constantly. All of them are amazing, every one has a song that touches me on a very personal level. I can't wait for what you guys have in store for us in the future. Red Vox is my favorite band of all time ❤
Who is You?
@@RoastCDuck me
Thanks for including Me, the reader, in the band
to be honest i can't say if in the garden is still my favorite song, but as the first red vox song i heard it has a lot of sentimental value to me
Mine was Vomit In the Ball Pit for some godforsaken reason but that was enough of a spark to get me to explore more of the music. In the Garden is definitely one of my favorites for sure
I spent 23,574 minutes listening to Red Vox this year. That's about 16 days. I was in the top 0.005% of listeners. Red Vox is very soothing to me. Whenever I'm struggling, I turn to listening to a specific song depending on what kind of struggle.
All of my friends and family knows Red Vox and has heard the majority of songs so many times. My mom once asked me if that was all I listened to.
I have a strong memory with lyrics and melodies in general- but I could recognize the intro to a Red Vox song in seconds, and I've memorized the lyrics of every song.
I have an Another Light hoodie from when I first got into the band. It's missing a sleeve cuff, there are tiny holes everywhere, and the images are so scuffed.
Realign was the first album I heard come out. Then Lost for a While, then Visions and Afterthoughts. And the hype hasn't diminished. I treat Red Vox release dates like a holiday and count down to them
Sorry for the ramble. My point is, I fuckin love Red Vox. Keep doing what you're doin, all of you. You've got some real invested fans.
Not to be a hipster or anything, but lesser known music just FEELS better. Not to say I don't enjoy massively famous music, or want Red Vox all to myself, but its just a different FEEL. Also, Vinny himself just speaks to me. No matter how famous he gets, he isn't a celebrity and I respect that. Just does what he enjoys while we are along for the ride. Leaving the world at the door for a while. Not to escape it, but to rebound back into it with a better attitude.
I relate to every single word you said. Red Vox has been such a big part of my life, since the day I first started listening to the them.
Is always amazing knowing there's more people, that feel the same way about this great band!
damn here i thought i was hot shit being in the 0.5% hah.
i feel ya tho man!
i’m happy to hear that vinny doesn’t hate that people love in the garden, i always feel kinda guilty that it’s my favorite despite all the new music the band puts out
Im a bit out of the loop I guess, why would he hate that people like it?
@@Squirrelfaceboy It's not like vinny would, but I know that some artists can get tilted over the fact that people listen a lot to an older/popular song reather than the new material they put out
@@zero28ism oh huh, what a strange mindset for an artist to have, I would assume they'd just be happy to have people like anything at all. Thanks for the response!
@@Squirrelfaceboy Yeah, it's a weird mindset but tends to happen.
@@Squirrelfaceboy i can kinda understand why. it can make artists feel like one hit wonders when nothing else really gets attention
I'm a RUclips music listener, and according to their bootleg wrapped feature, I listened to 12,587 minutes of Red Vox this year. If that wasn't enough to tell, it's been my favorite band for a bit now. Overall I had around 36k minutes listed in total, so Red Vox was a third of what I listened to. Can't wait for the new albums!
I am one of those Adventurers. My stepson and I have been listening to Red Vox for a couple years now, he has many if not all your albums; we even got his mom into y'all a little!
Thank you for your weird little brainchild, Vin.
About 50,000 of those In the Garden plays were me.
Nah but for real, Red Vox was in my top 5 artists played again for the third year in a row. Looking forward to Afterthoughts and for y'all to dominate my Wrapped for 2023.
Keep it up and thanks for the great tunes.
I remember discovering in the garden randomly due to Spotify's discover weekly playlist and I loved it, saved it and when I listened to it a couple of times I was like wait this sounds like vinny singing, looked at the band name and remembered that your band was called Red Vox
I'm proud of be one of the 735,178 listeners
Fuckin love Reno along with In The Garden
Edit: I just did my wrap up and while sadly Red Vox wasnt number one they were number 3, and funny enough I got The Adventurer, which I guess makes sense since I listen to almost anything, and Red Vox was definitely a gem.
I was in the .5% of listeners this year, you got me through many boring work days, and a very depressing two weeks involving cancer. Only excited for more future tracks and maybe potential live shows. (Would also love to hear more demo tracks if ever possible)
Cancer should be thrown into a vomit-filled ball pit. Sending best wishes!
I didn't expect Red Vox to actually pop up on my spotify wrapped this year but I DID forget the few months of a depressive spiral where I made a Red Vox playlist to keep me going, thanks for your tunes all these years 💚
Congrats vinny!!! We love your funny mouth noises
Y'know, now that both Visions and Afterthoughts are released it would be nice to have a release of the demos that were playing in this video, I really dig the differences between them and the final releases of the songs.
In the Garden is great, but Stranded is fuckin fantastic and I go back to that more often.
This is honestly a super neat insight to the other side of things, speaking as one of the 3,000 who had you guys as my #1 artist I'm honestly so glad you and the crew picked up Red Vox and built it into something everyone can enjoy. looking forward to whatever the future may bring.
Chop chop, Binny. We need the 2023 wrapped stats
I was in the .05% of listeners and at the risk of sounding a bit too obsessed, I genuinely love y'alls music! I haven't ever really found a band whos songs I connect to on a personal level so much much less whos songs I like most of. I know its easy to put yourself into lyrics, but I guess in tandem with the general tune of most of the songs and preference for more minor/melancholic sounds, these songs just hit right for me lmao. This music has helped me through a lot of tough times because of this. I've been listening since WCGW and really love seeing the evolution of y'all sound and hearing that red vox distinct style thats developed through the years. And Vin, I get its hard to believe folks are genuinely this into your work (I feel that way as an artist myself) but just know a lot of us really mean every word, so don't discount that just cause a lot of people know your work through your streaming career, because its still good ass music. You can tell there is a lot of passion with your stuff and I think people genuinely appreciate it. Also side note, I HAVE met people who have heard of Red Vox through spotify and have no idea who vinesauce is, as someone who talks about music a lot to others, so theres that lmao.
I miss the forgotten backup singer from the 4 og tracks. I hope he can return one day.
"Almost a Stranger" was my most played song this year (included in 32,740 minutes total played over 1,184 artists), and it wasn't close. Red Vox was also in my top 5 artists all year, IMO you had masterpieces on your hands with releases this year.
Res vox has actively been on my top 5 artists for years, this year was my number 1 and I'm so glad to have been one of those fans. Love love LOVE the music, and Visions was an incredible album. Cannot wait for what's to come!
Pale Blue Dot was my most listened to song this year. Thanks for the music my dude.
y'all were my #1 artist, Almost A Stranger was my #1 on Spotify this year, i'm so excited to see what the future of Red Vox holds and i'm so thankful for you all
I started out watching vinnys streams as a teen. I developed a lot of my music taste through his streams and Red Vox just naturally became my favorite band. Ive always liked the same music vinny does. Tame impala and a lot of other bands he mentions i always loved and admired. Its cool to have a band that fits my music taste so well. Ive been listening nonstop since. Its gotten me through some tough times. I dont watch much of vinnys streams now a days just because ive grown up and work too often to have the time to watch literally any streams. But i still listen to red vox. I will never forget packing up to move when my parents kicked me out and the only comfort i had was red vox. Forever grateful. I dont think id be here without this band. I cant put it to words. All these words here cant even express how much this band means to me. And it makes me so happy to see so many others have the same experience with this band. Their music is so uniquely touching and human. Red voxs music understands even if they dont understand specifically your life. It just feels like the singer (vinny) is right there with you or he understands.
Just... What an awesome band. Such an important part of mine anf so many others lives.
Tried my damnedest to get Winning The Most up there, Vin, but I just couldn't do it alone. Thanks for the great music, you guys! Visions was amazing
In the garden will always been one of my tops tracks
discovered red vox this year and now its the number 1 on my spotify wrapped 8993 minutes. cant wait for afterthoughts
I'm a proud top 0.05% of listeners for red vox with 9500 minutes listened over 2022
I'm in your 0.5%, Long lonely night and Memento Mori were my most listened songs of the year. Your songs followed me during my first year of college. Thank you
as a newer red vox fan, i love in the garden, one of my favorite songs, and i never even realized it was #1!
Funny story about me and the release of Visions. It was winter break of my senior year in high school, and I was finally recovering from covid. I'd already missed about a week of school, since I happened to catch covid right before the break ended, and my first day back I managed to take a wrong step, cracking my fifth metatarsal and spraining my ankle. I think that was probably the worst physical pain I've experienced, since I decided to try and make it through the rest of the day.
This all happened on the day before the album was going to release. I remember that it was going to release at midnight, but since I live in the central time zone, I got to listen to it an hour early.
Both Visions and Red Vox as a whole got me through some rough times in my life, it's a little absurd how much I listen
Vinny please release these demos I am fucking begging you
I put over 8k minutes in redvox on spotify alone, it also made my top artist this year
3 songs made my top 5, but nakey jakeys song "pine barrens" was my number 1
Middle of the street was easily my fav, but I really love settle for less, realign, and why cant this be easy.
I'm so excited to listen to future albums
Been listening to red vox on Spotify for years now, and just this year added your songs to one of my playlists. Feels good to have contributed to that statistic I guess
"You did your thing, people loved it" We did love Vinny's streams but that's besides the point
Red Vox changed my life and has been my most listened artist for the past three years. Keep doing whatchu doing lads
I listened to Red Vox for 5,926 minutes, being in the top .1%. This is what, the third or fourth year in a row for that? I'm so proud of your guy's work and growth, love you all so much keep up the AMAZING work
Red Vox is one of the few things that makes me listen to more music, no joking.
The themes, the lyrics, and the sound is just so melancholically enchanting.
Red Vox didnt show up in my wrapped but it keeps popping up in my weekly discover and my spotify is clean of gaming stuff. You guys are growing man.
I remember doing an introduction locker project for class and I had to insert photos to describe what I liked, and red vox was used as my favorite band. Thank you Vinny for creating some of the greatest music I’ve listened to. My personal favorite song from Red Vox is Atom Bomb.
In the garden reminds me of the community that you've got growing here, keep up the good work homeboy
Digging the "Mario Maker edit mode"-style demos of Return the Call and Almost a Stranger in the background
Thanks for Visions, Bento Box
I just shared my wrapped and your song "Settle for less" was in my top 2. I really love your music and specially how much you're growing as an artist over the time.
I found Red Vox this year and the band ended up in my top 5 artists this year :) I don't listen to a lot of music on repeat, but the music got in my head and I found myself seeking it out a lot. Thanks to you and the rest of the band for continuing to work on the music!
I am ENTIRELY willing to fly to New York for a Red Vox show.
…As long as my parents are willing.
Super excited for Afterthoughts, the singles hyped me up good
Red Vox European Tour PLS
Vinny, Red Vox is amazing. I work full time and being able to commute with such bangers makes the day that much better. Glad to be in the top 3000 for people for number one artist.
Red vox
Red vox
Red vox
I only started listening to Red Vox back in September, and I think I had your stuff on repeat pretty much all of September and October. Stranded, Settle For Less, and Patiently Undone, in particular are amazing songs and easily my top 3 favorites. I'm really looking forward to whats next.
There’s A Place was on my stereo every single morning on the way to work this year. Red Vox may have been my number 2, just behind Green Day, but I love this band so fuckin much and can’t wait to see what you guys have in store for 2023! Keep making awesome music Vin! ❤️💚
Vinny just do live streamed concerts with a small crowd and the chat on a screen behind you guys
All you really need is some stage lights a decently big sized hdtv a cheap NUC computer to display popped out chat room and a sound guy
Maybe since you're partnered with twitch you can get amazon music to sponsor the concerts
PLEASE RELEASE THE DEMOS
You guys are one of my favorite bands. I started listening around when "why can't this be easy" was released as a single. Realign released at a very weird/interesting time in my life and its become one of my favorite albums of all time, and helped me through some strange and emotional stuff. Thank you guys for making good music, I look forward to Afterthoughts and whatever else you guys put out in the future
That’s crazy, I haven’t used a redbox in years. Didn’t really need to after Netflix and Hulu got huge but it’s cool to know that it’s still going strong
I don't listen music in spotify enough so I didnt find you on my Spotify Wrapped
But I got the suprise of a lifetime when I clicked on "Messages from your favorite artists" and the first thing I saw was you and Gnorts.
I love your music career Vinny you're among my favorite artists and everyone at Red Vox do an amazing job. Sorry I couldn't push Mexico into the top 5.
As a Mail Carrier, I listen to albums by Red Vox a lot while out there in the elements
Brasil! Thank you Vinny, Mike, Joe and Bill!
Hopefully we can get the RUclips upload of In The Garden to a million views next. I listen to my music on RUclips so I don't count for these statistics, but Red Vox albums got me through a few shitty days of work.
I find it funny that I started listening to Red Vox last month and it ended up being my 3rd top artist in the wrapped. Idk if it was cuz of me playing the songs on repeat or I just listen to that little artists lmao
I've been around since What Could Go Wrong, and Red Vox has been at least in my top 5 artists every year since 2016. This year I jumped ship from Spotify to RUclips Music because of the Joe Rogan fiasco back in January, so the excessive amount of time I spend listening to your music won't be showing up in spotify wrapped anymore, but I made sure to keep the band on my new playlists. Can't wait to hear Afterthoughts next year!
Knowing that you look at Spotify wrapped makes me wanna redownload Spotify and blast redvox again
Happy for you Vinny! In the Garden is also my fav. I mean this in the nicest way when I say those numbers surprised me too. Love the music, love the streams, thanks for all you do!
I don’t use Spotify, but red vox was my #4 artist. I love your guys’ music, it’s gotten me through so much.
In the Garden and Almost a Stranger are my favourites, great for working at night...
Cheers Vinny, thanks for the great music!
been following your red vox journey since the very beginning and i cant tell you how proud i am that so many people discovered your music by now!! ever since "what could go wrong" red vox has been in my top 5 (im sorry but r.e.m. will always be on top lmao) and i am really looking forward to listen to afterthoughts.
(hoping for a premiere again, it was like 3am for me when the visions premiere started but it was totally worth it!)
Thank you for all the great music you and the guys have created!
Honestly you deserve every listen and more.
No one even looks up at the stars anymore.
and think they're not alone?
BOW NOW WOW NANANA BWOW NOW NANAN 🎸🎸🎸🎸
the moment i collapsed the replies and saw this comment, i lost my shit. thanks for the laugh lmao
red vox is my top 3 bands of all time. yall do such great work, thank you so much for sharing yalls visions (get it) with us!!! i hope i can buy some digital albums this year!!
Honored to have Red Vox as my top 5, my no.2 to be exact. Honored to be able to sing, laugh, and cry to Visions. Cant wait to do the same for Afterthoughts. Been randomly asking my friends to listen to RV for a longggg time and will always do so for future releases. Also my playlist for Red Vox is called "Italian New York Special". Thank you to everyone behind Red Vox, especially the sauce man
your no 1 is Pink Floyd.
your next line is "no, it's actually~" something different
Over 5700 minutes spent with Red Vox this year. May the next year have even more 🙂
I use apple music but for their version of the whole wrapped thing I found out that Visions was my most listened to album of the year.
As i'm writing, Vinny only has around 5000 more subscribers than Masahiro Sakurai.
my top 5 most listned to tracks this year are from red vox, #1 being "I'll know" (which is super under-rated imo.) cant wait for afterthoughts! keep it up!
Glad to see Bed Socks doing really well. I have every single song on my playlist and i cant wait for more to come.
just wanted to say that ive been in the top .5% of these 753k listeners for the last 6 years, and i couldnt be happier. far away, the temple, ghost page, stranded, so many great song. cant wait for more!
i've only used spotify for 2 years now. discovered your music back in 2020 right around the start of the pandemic. instantly became my favorite band. it's really soothing and comfortable for me as i'm driving around all day doordashing. makes it easier. it's kinda cheesy but literally there's no other band like red vox to me.
also i bought the realign shirt and i'm upset because my cat nemesis pissed on it.
Red Vox was my #1 artist of the year and was in the top 1% of listeners with 1207 minutes 💛 can’t wait for the sister album
I loved playing In The Garden over and over! My personal favorite song
You and Red Vox are so unbelievably good and you absolutely deserved this opportunity to feel good about yourself. Honestly you deserve more, but we take what we can get. Literally been vibrating in anticipation for Afterthoughts ever since Almost a Stranger came out of nowhere and turned into one of my favorite songs ever so I seriously can't wait personally. Here's to more and more powerful funny statistics numbers next year
I picked up guitar a few years ago, and hearing your music always makes me wanna play! Love your vocals too
In the garden was my second most listened to song this year and I had 106000 minutes listened to. love your stuff vin
3rd year that red vox has been my top artist! 18k+ minutes this time. Settle for less has been my top song 3 times since 2019
Just wanna thank Vin and the rest of the band for the album this year, I've been struggling with depersonalization and depression a lot this year, and Almost a stranger has quickly become a very meaningful song to me,
it really helps to know I'm not alone with how I'm feeling so thanks for that.
4:30 that's not a donut, that's a blood bagel
Thank you for sharing your tasty jams with the world Mr R Vox
Red Vox wasnt in my top 10 this year, but I got to see the small video you made for everyone on Spotify. That was funny
red vox has been my #1 artist the last two years in a row, I love the music you guys make and I can't wait to listen to more in the future :]
Afterthoughts is so hype I can’t wait!!!Thanks for sharing this it was neat to see!
here before vinny goes "your check is in the mail"
sincerely, i hope vin and all the fellas involved in red vox feel comfortable giving themselves some credit. mike and vin deserve to give themselves credit as musicians and not just "streamers who are in a band", and bill and joe help make an awesome finsihed product. the growth has been amazing to watch for both audience size but also talent, skill, and creative expression. over thanksgiving, my cousin who is a bit more of a "get 'er done" sorta redneck guy was playing red vox and i hadnt even exposed him to you guys. although there is a small group of vinesauce fans who heard about red vox through the streams, the music has REACH. as much as vin and chat often joke about red vox fans all being vin and mike fans, the music truly does have merit on its own. it completely deserves the praise and everyone in the band continues to do incredible work with each release.
Instrumental Return The Call?????? That's pretty poggers, but I'd always prefer it with those haunting vocals. Looking forward to early 2023!
Edit: Almost a Stranger, Ozymandias, Better on the Outside and Why Can't This Be Easy too!
DAVY GREY SPOTIFY PLEAs (or at least odds and ends? vine is already on Spotify and ocean to the sea is so wonderful)
i was 1k of those times, blame Pale Blue Dot, In The Garden, Almost A Stranger, and like two others
almost 11k listens from me this past year for Red Vox alone, being my #1 for this year. You guys have kept me sane, in some way.
'Visions' really carried my year; no matter how shitty my day was, no matter how distant I felt from myself, no matter how much control I thought I had, I always had your guy's music to keep me grounded. Your guy's music really hits a soft spot that brings me back in. I'm proud of the work and how far you all have come.
There's something special in every album from Red Vox and I caught myself really clinging to a track or two each release (like 'Elessar').
I'm really excited to hear what's next, whatever it may be and however far into the future it is.
Thank you, Red Vox
Wtf had no idea you were Red Vox, been listening to them all year. Sick stuff man! Ozymandias is awesome too!
