Perfection. The wooden floors and decor. The tiling in the bathroom is awesome. The space is compact. Great use of space. Kudos 👌👌👌.
I toured this place when they first finished the walk thru model. I couldnt afford it on air force pay, but someday im coming home and i dont care if its a studio apartment in jakes way lol. I miss scv.
I last visited Santa Clarita in 2016. Desert area that has been built up. Saugus school district is very good too.
Toll Brothers is my favorite builder....This is not their best product. Very small home and simple build for a luxury option..The upgrades make it a tad tolerable. Pantry is so tiny.. Little floor space..tiny rooms..tiny office window..no soaking tub in the master bath.. Tiny yard...pretty much equal to a fancy townhome. If this is 2 million with upgrades.. I would keep looking elsewhere..
totally agree..we toured the models and houses are very small and barely any backyard..Pardee homes are bigger and reasonable..so we checking that out now

Nice house. Santa Clarita should require wider side set-backs, bigger back yards and street setbacks. They might as well just join the side walls of these places and make them condos.
I like parts of Santa Clarita but it is very hot and will take you 3 hours to get to LA in the morning. Forget coming home past 2 in the afternoon. Also at 1.5 million you might as well forget the upgrades and live closer to LA. The new neighborhoods look junky until they mature.

I'll take the $700k house and do all the upgrades myself rather than paying annual property taxes on $2 million. I can probably get the upgrades cheaper elsewhere anyway. And I can do a cash out refi to pay for it all.

I work for an interior design company and we provide merchandising for model homes. If this is the model home, then the designer included the accent walls like the wallpaper for the study, the shiplap for the living room. These are not offered from the builder at all.

I’m shocked to see very little storage for a house at that price range. There is very little cabinets space and a small pantry in the kitchen, and no counter space for prep. The bedroom closets are tiny. Storage is very important to me personally. It’s beautiful, but not worth the price.
Two brothers have a lot of built-up complaints about their shoddy workmanship and customer service! Especially after closing the deal! Check it out on the Internet from people who are Toll Brothers home owners! Listen to their story! You’re pretty much on your own after you close the deal!
This is why it is imperative to have a real estate agent represent you when buying a new construction home, instead of talking directly to the builder's sales team :)

When you say 1.2 in taxes what that 🤔
you pay in tax the property value multiplied by 1.2%
Property taxes are high in California, so even if you pay the whole mortgage off and "own" it free and clear, the property tax is like paying rent every month. I think they're a rip off. Now the "rats" want to raise them again. Please vote NO on Prop 15! We pay enough.
