There are a few universities that provide the students matchless opportunities to build their careers like mine. But I do believe that we need to have more study centers with good faculty.

Not really. Education system in India is oudated. They teach children those unwanted things that will prolly never benefit them in their whole life. Most children dont even know how to do basic things like filling a form, how to act in a emergency situation etc. In most part Children dont even know what they are studying they just byheart it for the sake of getting marks. Conceptual learning is the main thing which is lacking in Indian educational system.

This video, tbh, is very stereotypical. Where i studied, english was spoken, we learned advanced math and physics, rather everything we studied was advanced. This is what government schools are like, not the private schools. Especially in big cities like bangalore, education is very refined and the topmost priority. Please don't let this video make an impression on you.

@jakeGOW360 - I would dispute Maddison because he is assuming India as a continent rather than any particular Indian state or which there were several from the first to the eleventh century. Compare to China which was the most advanced country on each in almost every field for 2500 years right up until the 1700s (yes, more advanced than my European kin too I admit).

if ure gonna compare America with developing countries like india/china etc. u have to compare graduation rates for those that do attend college. Its like comparing apples and oranges if u compare opportunity. Obviously Americans will have more opportunity for education. It's still pretty sad that in a country as developed as the US, the condition of the education system isnt where it should be.

@Hereticalable "According to economic historian Angus Maddison in his book The World Economy: A Millennial Perspective, India had the world's largest economy from the first to eleventh century, and in the eighteenth century, with a (32.9%) share of world GDP in the first century to (28.9%) in 1000 AD, and in 1700 AD with (24.4%). the education system in india and asia in general is so far ahead of the west it's a joke. My middle school teacher told us exams such as the ST ACT and the high school proficiency exams were a result of the west falling behind the east in education. Not to offend but America is a country of B and C students. Kids is asia are immensely bright for some reason.

Global Innovation Index (Cornell University, INSEAD and WIPO) - 2012
China is ranked 1. Perhaps you live in the past, but it only takes 1 year for China to change so much.

@saurabhCherished - What does genetics have to do with it? I am talking about language, culture and religion - which have little to no bearing on genetics...it's nearly impossible to tell someone's religion or culture by looking at their genes.

"-India primary children at year or grade 3 is doing same syllabus as Year 12-" PISA 2009 - 2010
    India's Average: Mathematics - 344.5, Science - 325 (lowest score out of 74 countries), Reading - 327
    Australia's Average: Mathematics - 514, Science - 527, Reading - 515.
    Shanghai: Mathematics - 600/600, Science 575/600, Reading - 556/600, ranked 1st in all fields.
Don't compare China to India, it gets insulting, you're acting as if we're on the same spectrum, we're far far from being the same.
