- There has been global outrage after Iran handed a death sentence to Iranian rapper Toomaj Salehi for supporting protests following the death of Mahsa Amini in 2022. One supporter has told RFE/RL she hopes Tehran will back down to avoid sparking a new wave of mass protests.

I strongly believe Gaza protesters are the same people who wanted the "peace in Ukraine" by not giving Kyiv the weapons they need to defend themselves against the Russian aggressor.
