- A Czech ammo initiative is set to send first shells to Ukraine by no later than June. The drive led by the government of Czech Republic reportedly raised enough funds to procure hundreds of thousands of shells from non-EU markets.

thanks so much, from all of my heart, to this czech initiative!!!!

No way, biggest threat to Europe is backing Ukraine
Thank you to the Czech Republic for this magnificent effort.
Thanks to the Czech Rep and the EU.
Why wait till June every day counts. Do something.
Thank you czechs
Many thanks to the Czech Rep. and greetings from Germany.
Thank you Czechia
Good! Thanks
The Czech is in the mail.
Now that even Russian kids have started practicing en masse at sh. ranges instead of learning, and Putin has started making claims in the Baltic area, no one in Europe should have the slightest doubt about what needs to be done.
Lets fight with russia while migrants washin out white genes over world yeah smart
ruassian douchebags are driving around with Z flags here in the U.S. asking to get what's coming. They are teens. Putin is using a culture of ethnic brainwashing to groom cannon fodder starting at a young age.
The only country that attacked Germany since WW2 is the US, Not Russia.

One of the best interviews until now. I liked the part were "brutality, Code of conduit, and Imperialistic ambitions" were in a same phrase. It describes perfectly the mentality of Russian people (not Putin's mentality). Kudos for that.
Yep, another muppet parrroting the same lies and propaganda like his US master!
Well done! In Western Europe this war is considered as "far"!!! Could you imagine that?
Ukraine are still restricted to firing onto their own territory and not strike within Russia while Russia just sits at the border knowing it's safe. I'm talking long range missiles of course.
Well the USA knows if that happens no us troops will be safe anywhere in the world and Russian missiles will be provided to the US foes to strike inside the US mainland.
Not true!
They do it on daily basis and you should be aware of that.
The point is *how far* they can hit inside the russian territory.
Bravo Czech Republic!
Apparently there was some sort of diplomatic arm -wrestling and counter-bidding against Russia who found out which countries and ex USSR states were willing to sell and tried to buy the shells themselves to keep the Czechs getting them, as well as applying threats and other means. That's why it has taken so long.
Sounds like a lame excuse. Russia is under a weapons embargo. Anyone supplying weapons to them gets embargoed was the simple solution.
What's your source on that?
Really.
Well, that wouldn't surprise me.

Thanks, an informative report
I respect the Czechs so much for helping out as I do those EU countries making this possible. I will be in Ukraine in June 2024. I stand with the Czechs and Ukraine!
Slava Ukraine
The Czechs have been the last time invaded from the SU in 1968. Contrary to Hungary, they still have this NOT forgotten. They are also aware that if Putin is annexing Ukraine as he did it with several other countries before, they themself are in grade danger to be next on Putin's list
Tomas Pojar's statement is entirely rational and prudent. It must be a NATO-wide directive that focuses swifter conversion to member nation wartime production. If you wait until there is formal declaration of war or some official announcement of Putin's actual intent then all of Europe will experience Ukraine's horror.
It takes times to change your industries.
Thanks Czech!
Seems it always "next month" or some other delay. It is really hard to believe that all these European countries and the U.S. has to scrounge around for artillery shells and other weaponry. These shells were promised months ago. Still no F-16s. Talk is cheap.
We don't have the production capacity but we can't say that. So the politicians are blamed instead for late approvals.
The F-16s are promised delivery this summer. When the weapons were first promised Ukrainian technicians had to learn about maintaining the F-16. It takes time.
Ukrainia took Out an 800 Million USD worth Russian Air defense system today. With an US Missile. The stuff IS slowly ariving plus with the Charkiw Attack the Russian Army has propably overextended.
@@novelogramThe amunition amount and Produktion capacity IS a state Secret.
There is still ammunition going to ukraine from the united states and all the other european countries this whole time. They had to get these shells from other countries who might not have wanted to sell or give them away. So they probably had to take a while to negotiate. It's not like these are the only shells that are going to ukraine, just these ones specifically from this initiative will be arriving in june. There is already a constant flow of artillery shells arriving to ukraine besides these ones specifically from this initiative
Děkuji Česko! 🇨🇿🇺🇦🇪🇺 As Europeans we have to stand together against Russian agression. Thank you leading the way with this initiative!

Thanks Czechs. It's our war too
That would be 155mm plus 120mm and/or 152mm. Not 122mm.
Good news, one of the Russia's two advantages will be less bare.
@@margelatu79 You did not see any news about shelling difference? During some battles Russians outnumbered Ukrainian artillery 5 to 1.
Is it there yet?
Should be 500k from EU - from last year.
1m from tschech
800k from another source
Somethibg from US.
Where is it?
Here's hoping that all of Europe unites in continued support for Ukraine to help make up for the delay here in the USA caused by some feckless politicians. The bad mustached guy could have been stopped when he marched in to reoccupy the Ruhr. Putler needs to be stopped now....the price to do so will only grow exponentially.
instead of investing billions to iran thatswhere the money should go
Can't believe we are still having a bottleneck in shells. It's really embarrassing (and deadly for the Ukrainians).
the Czechs know there ammo
Why the hell is it taking so long? I thought those shells had arrived weeks ago!
Good
1 year too late.
not to look a gift horse in the mouth but wtf is taking so long? they could be sending it piecemeal like 2 months ago.
🤍
Or I won't.
So baciacally Ukraine was short of ammo for a year and a half. The first sets of a 1.2 million ammo package is coming in. Meanwhile Russia produces over 3 million shells annually. This ain’t even close to enough to offset the shortage😂
You aren't taking accuracy into account.
@@hordlood might be the dumbest cope reply I’ve heard of in a minute😂
Why did they wait so long Ukraine is on its back foot
Pakistan I bet
Why can there be such a big difference between how absolutely awesome the czechians are, and have absolutely uninspiring and self centered the slovacs are? Can someone explain what happened. Because Slovakia seems to suck... and not just a little bit. They seem to almost be as bad as Hungary
I have people in the Czech Republic. This is a stupid move. This endangers them NEEDLESSLY. Just give up the Donbass already. It doesn't want you...
How fast these Crews fire off rounds? Thank You for anything. The Old Woman that refused to leave her house until the Laundry on the line is taken in? Shells are falling but she wants her Linens. Why invading a Grandmothers turf escapes me. I guess in this day and age.. we mean not so much as a person. She paid her Taxes and waved a flag. What more does an Ex-Colonel KGB want from a Grandmother? Geevers Man! Have some Civility.
I'm very worried for my friends on the front. The shells russia got from N. Korea were garbage. Form what ov heard, NATO made shells seem to be more reliable and not blow up in barrels. I pray for the welfare of the russian warriors with this sad news
Tell them to stay home and raise their families to never support blind conquest
@robtorres5518 honestly I'm starting to lean towards that
@@John_Brian-qu5eq Now now, Putin still wants to aquire new "assets", we can't be discouraged now.

Russia won
Russia hasn't achieved a single stated goal
Apperently not.
So many Russians dead and maimed, living conditions and economic prospects worsened, 100000s of high earners fled the country, but at least you will maybe have more territory. That's what they were missing before, more underdeveloped land they will have to invest more into after it gets devastated by war. That's all if they "win".
What a waste and charade
russia will not have its trade with serbia, hungary and slovakia controlled, nor will it have its water suply to crimea cut and wont allow russian speakers to be misstreated in ukraine. Military lobbies of the world, go make money elswhere.
Virtually all Ukrainians are Russian speakers, so I don't think Russian-speaking is really the issue here.
And as for Crimea, perhaps Putin's aggression is why its water is cut, and besides, it's surrounded by water.
Either BUY Ukraine's treated water, or wallow in your own shii.
EU member states do not have the autonomy to negotiate their own independent trade policies or treaties with non-EU countries, so they do and they will. Invading a part of sovereign state and then complaining about them cutting their water supply is an interesting argument. I'm sure all those Russian speakers are having the times of their lives right now as their homes are being destroyed and they are being forcefully conscripted. Russian speaking citizen in Ukraine still have more rights then Russians do in Russia... Also Russia is the one ramping up their military production much much more then the west while diverting funds from education and development, for a conflict they started by trying to invade the whole of Ukraine.
God bless Russia
