    Hi Bwogi farms!
    Bottle feeding is my lesson in this video.
    1 - I have learnt that hygiene is the key most especially when dealing with bottle feeding of kids.
    2 - Making your own crostrum to boost the bottle-feeding kids' immune system.
    Thanks for the new ideas.

    Thanks. Problem kids it's good to give them warm milk from one healthy cow to avoid some diseases from infected cow that's providing milk. Even I normally tell my fellow farmers that instead of having a goat that is kidding triplets that can can take long time mature where you find they're are looking so very weak, I rather have a goat that is kidding twins that can be able to suckle enough milk from their mother hence enabling them to grow very well

    In runyankore we call it OKUSIGYIIRRA (using OMUHOKO) but commonly used in cows, dip hand into the cows cervix and rub it around the foster kid. It is done till the mother accepts the kid.

    Madam Bwogi I apply that knowledge of how kids born triplets normally suffer to our day today life ie, if you have food that is supposed to be eaten by two children but now it's being eaten by three. Hence that shows they will be so weak and take a long period of time to mature and thus applies to goats.

    Please ma'am is it necessary for a goat mother to breast feed her baby up to three months, and also can the mother conceive another pregnancy after giving birth within a month.

    • @bwogifarmsuganda
      @bwogifarmsuganda  Год назад

      I wouldnt advise to. Usually a goat need rest to nurse the baby. In short a mother birthes twice every 14 month
