  • Natural syncronasation in goat farming.
    1. Your goats give birth at the same time
    2. Taking care of the kids happens once
    3. Medications administering happens once
    4. You reduce the hard work of all the year e.g feeding kids
    5. Kids reach market weight at the same time
    6. Goats kid before winter coldness

      100% agree its the easiest way to farm. In the future i want to try Artificial insemination keeping an expensive buck at the farm is risky.

    Insightful, so during the process of natural synchronization, how far away from the ewes must the ram be ?

    • @RoseMoFarm
      @RoseMoFarm  Год назад +1

      Well i always see a lot of my friends farm they keep the rams so far away from the kraal of females. At RoseMo the ram Kraal is not far from the other kraals but still our rams are able o perform very well. In the future i will i consider having a kraal far away from other kraals.

    Do you keep those chickens in the goat kraal for ticks control??

    • @RoseMoFarm
      @RoseMoFarm  Год назад

      For two reasons. One you have mentioned it the other reason i keep them there is so that if a thief comes and wants to steal goats for meat they can start by the chickens and turkeys that always everyday sleep on top of the kraal gates.
