- This week's adventure is not for the faint of heart (heck, it's barely for us). We started canyoneering a few years ago, and this is, by far, the tightest and longest canyon we've ever been in.
The Middle Fork of Leprechaun Canyon is known to be the tightest and most difficult of the three, and they're not exaggerating! We spent 6 hours being crushed by these huge canyon walls, questioning if we'd ever make it out on the other end.
These adventures always wreck me a little bit mentally and physically, but gosh, it is so so cool to get to places like this that most people will never get the opportunity to see!! See ya in a few for some Yosemite climbing!

That was so cool and gorgeous! I once did some canyoning in the Lofoten, Norway. One part was quite tight as well. Had a lot of fun.

This is a great video. It's from the top down, using 'Shamrock' I believe to the confluence with Leprechaun. It was sad to hear the dude say the only reason to canyoneer is for the feeling of it being over with. So they were a bit overwhelmed with the technical section, instead of enjoying it like they should have. 5 hours isn't that long to be on any hike. The challenges and uniquely beautiful, sensuous spaces of slot canyons are what make them more interesting than the very average, repetitive trail walking of most hikes.
