I always enjoy Wonderhussy videos! BY THE WAAAY, no wonder Vic tried to change the wrong bulb, Wonderhussy said it's "the middle bulb" so he tried to change the wrong bulb based on what he thought Sarah meant, without checking. Anyway, always funny and interesting content!
Hwy, Vic! Nice portable digs. I hope you spend many happy days avoiding motel and hotel fees with that beast. Thanks for letting us tour the rig and thanks for helping Wonderhussy out. And thumbs down to whoever designed the headlight pods on that 4 runner. There's no real reason to complicate the focus geometry to take 2 different types of bulbs like that. And thanks Sarah Jane for having Vic on your channel. You Rock!
Ahhh poor Vic! Go easy on him he was in the presence of the fantastic amazingly beautiful Wonderhussy and lost control of his senses for a minute! Good luck Vic and good to see your headlights are beaming again Sarah! We are all happy to see you with your beaming headlights! You seem to really glow! LOL! Ol Vic probably got drained of all his senses at the hot spring. LOL!
Okay, Vic just scored some MAJOR points with me by saying his inspiration is Charles Kuralt. I have that book. Loved him on CBS Sunday Morning. Well done, Vic Meier...you've just got yourself another subscriber!
I am not interested in horrible haunted places .🫤😬I do like the refurbished videos folks make . Loved your desert costumes .❤ Plus all the male handy men were fun to watch .
"Roughing It" by Mark Twain is my favorite book! A must read for anyone interested in the gold rush days of the late 1800's, Lake Tahoe, Viginia City etc
Hi Sarah. Hi Vic! I think that bulb is a "halogen", isn't it? I found out that those bulb's should not be touched without wearing a plastic sandwich bag, or rubber gloves, etc. Your hands will leave a residue that shortens the life of the bulb. Also, Wonderhussy, I hope that while you were talking you were also watching how he's doing this so you can too! Would be a good idea to also carry a bulb stored in the glove box for the next time. Love Ya!
24:35 you can see the bulb has blistered already from oily hands. If that’s what the auto parts store put back in it will go out soon. She might as well change both while she’s at it as halogen dims after a while
@@AshCupric yes I am, thank you!!! I’ve got doozy for next week. It will be my most heavily produced episode yet. Thanks to all the support, I was encouraged to buy some gear!!!
When I bought my Jeep 3 years ago it had 160,000 or so miles, from experience the first thing I replaced after getting it home was replacing the head lights. From past experience with recovering vehicles that is one of my pet peeves, I paid 4 hundred dollars for my 96 Grand Cherokee and have about 2 grand into it now, I've put over 11,000 miles on it and it runs like a champ. I had to do a Vice Gripe repair and drove it over 300 miles to get it home, real fun. Sarah I loved the video and you have some great friends, the Van was a work of art and as long as it works its a keeper. Old Kenny
I’m driving a 2004 Honda CR-V. It has over 225,000 miles on it and is still going strong. I have put money into it and made many repairs over the years but that would be required with any car. I’d like to get something newer eventually but with inflation/ sky-high prices, my plan is to ride this baby until her wheels fall off.
The friend helper van! How nice! Vic Meier channel! It’s so cool that you know so many cool people that travel and camp in really cool rigs. I love seeing them all. My son is getting ready to build one for his mountain biking trips.
You have a great group of friends that come out to visit you. Now you have extra parts for your rig, which never hurts to have. Vic has a rad van too, thanks for the tour!
It has been my experience that parts store guys are perfectly willing to come outside and show you how to replace head light bulbs, in the process they change them for you. I'm an old man and they do it for me, so I think it would be a sure thing no brainer for a young pretty girl like you to get help from the parts guys.
Thank you! When I pulled the bulb it looked burned out and frankly doing my first van tour was a little nerve wracking. It was a rush to know that I would be speaking to all of you Wonderful people!!! SJ will have my undivided focus on our next project. I did feel pretty silly, afterwards, though.
Ingenious jar storage solution, secure and accessible. The van is evidence of some careful thought. What else would we expect for a friend of WH, the great person litmus test 😊
Merely a case of bulbous interuptus, Wonderhussy. Ĝotta have a tight fit. If you know what I mean. Vic is clearly a good buddy to have. Great van. Now you've got a tale to tell bout the time Vic drove "100's" of miles to fix your 4x4 .😂❤

As a trucker, the food storage issue in the semi is all too real. The company provides a fridge. But the fridge gets filled up with a measly one bag. Next solution is to get the passenger tossed out and have more room for another fridge and other storage. As for cooking heat, the butane stove and the 12v rice cooker are on point!!!
Poor Vic. Road hypnosis hangover will do that to ya every time. Hey Wonderhussy. Next time you're near an O'Reilly's be sure to pick up a pint of Blinker Fluid. A must-have for all the off-roading ya do. You'll have to ask for it at the counter, 'Cause they don't keep it on their shelves. And be sure to make a before, during and after vid. The parts guys will be very impressed by the savvy desert chick who knows the old mechanic's Blinker Fluid trick that makes blinkers last almost forever. Thank me later.
Love the Anza Borrego Desert State Park postcard! Was it there 5 days over THANKSGIVING! Third time to visit that area and great little Hippie town of Borrego Springs Ca.

Great van conversion; functional & looks good. But I like the "Trampled Under Foot" banter re: headlights.

N important lesson learned : about electrical connections, sometimes all that is needed is to wiggle the plug to make sure it has continuity.
Could have swapped them to see if it was the bulb. WD-40 or silicon spray lube makes easier to reconnect them
You should have had the Lone Ranger Theme playing as your friend drove up.
