I’m 55 raised in Mississippi my grandfather told me when I was knee high to a grasshopper to watch pecan trees to tell you when the last frost will be when you see a pecan tree blooming out starting to put on any amount of green that there will be no more frost I lived in North Dakota and it was true there to so hope that will help you next year trip

man, i really like that Flextail Gear pump. I blew up my first camp mattress in 1974, and after the camp -- chucked it. I got dizzy, lol. When I saw that little pump being used on a British bushcraft site last year...i jumped at it. For me, the main saving grace of it, is that it Deflates the dang mattress too; now i can get the mattress back into the pack without "rolling out dough" for twenty minutes when packing up. I put it to the test, and it's like the Energizer Bunny...it keeps going, and going... :) Yet another cool vid!

man oh man give me a cob of corn......glad to see there were no midnight emergencies that called for a quick exit. i just did a camp in the rain and loved it. my stove is just like yours and i can see the chimney move when it gets hot and cools down. keep on keeping on oh and say hi to gal pal.

That is a drag that just last week you were in
