Legendary Shack Shakers est un combo de Nashville formé en 1998. C'est un véritable ovni dans le paysage musical mondial, mêlant punk, psycho, rockab’, hillbilly, bluegrass, polka, blues… pour un résultat détonant !
Mené par le charismatic et squeletic frontman Col. J.D. Wilkes, chanteur déjanté et harmoniciste hors pair, dont les cabrioles sur scène ont fait que la critique l’ai souvent comparé à Iggy Pop, Legendary Shack Shakers est une rare pépite du Rock’n’Roll underground !!!

Great live act. I met the good Colonel in Fresno. It was Lincoln Durham, Legendary Shack Shakers, Reverend Horton Heat and Unknown Hinson. What a show. JD is a very kind good hearted soul. And he couldn’t sit still if ya paid him. He Crowd surfed while playing the Harmonica.

I've seen these guys a couple times, can't say I care for the amount of pubic hair this man rips off of himself but the rest of the shows were amazing
