Awesome Brandon that you got one.👍 Finally the new folks to the hobby like you can experience full Legacy Control. I was lucky enough to get a 990 controller a few years ago so I'm going to wait on the base 3 for now. Great 50th video for sure.! Congratulations.! 😊

Any word on your Big Boy? Hopefully Lionel gets it back to you soon in working order! Man, that’s going to be super cool when you get that back and run it with the Base 3 and remote!!
heya brian and yeah im excited to use that base3 and the word on big boy is the guy i sent it to is trying to get in touch with lionel for the parts to fix it with and yeah i cant wait to see big boy run on tmcc and i wish i had a way to put the two diesels and the hudson,b&o and lehigh valley oh and the southern atlantic into something and let it randomly pick for me and yes im really happy and excited to have that base3 but ill show it off when i learn how to use it and thanks for your view and comment my friend 👍

What about that sliding train brake thing? The one that triggers wheel slip?
@@rail-ryder7135 If you mean the brake button on the cab 1 remote it slows down the engine to a stop long as you hold it down and i didnt see wheel slip on mine which i didnt pay it any attention but check out pghtrainfanatic here dudes name is nick he owns a cab 2 remote he can probably help you out with that stuff but like i said ive never owned nor used cab 2 so i really don’t know how to help you sorry buddy
What if I hold down aux 2? Will that take me to the light settings like the Legacy remote?
@@rail-ryder7135 no it wont go to light settings on cab 1 i just tried that to help ya and all aux 2 does is turn the lights on and off ive never had the cab 2 remote and dunno how to help ya on that sorry buddy

you could try that but you have to have a wifi connection if you do own the base 3 the L on the middle front of the base will light up orange to let you know its connected im having a lil trouble getting mine connected but if i have success ill let you know
