Look I'm a 66 year old man and when I was in 3rd grade my teacher said every day just relax for a minute and listen to your surroundings and if you don't hear or see a bird chirping or flying your day has been wasted so what she was saying was just slow down a little and move with nature and don't fight it. Every time I watch y'all I see and hear birds and wildlife so who couldn't thrive in this environment and being in good company slows things down to an incredible pace that will last you a lifetime, Thank You Jake Bissel.

I said it in the group... I met my now husband while on a first date with my ex. We became friends over the 4 years. He got sick and I was the only one who cared enough to sit and talk with him one night. We were at a bar to boot. We just sat and talked all night, as friends. The attraction was there, physical as well as mental, due to that long talk that night. That was 18 years ago. Our relationships both lasted 2 more years after that. Sometimes taking things slow and easy, becoming friends who can talk about anything and everything, makes for the greatest long term relationships. You already know what went wrong with each others past relationships. My advice? Keep taking it slow. Bill and I were friends. Then Friends with Benefits. Then together. Now married for 13 years, 16 years together...

One word of advice from someone who has lived through many trials, just take your time, as much time as you need, but be open to what could be possible. Don't push it away out of fear, or worry. You and Melisa work well together, and it's a good thing that you are excited to see her coming back and want to do something special for her. Just remember, if things do work out, don't ever let these moments pass you by and forget.

Friendship is the basis of a possible relationship down the line. I met my now hubby and we were friends for a good few years before we became an item. After 7 years of living a fabulous life together he asked me to marry him and we’ve been married now for 12 years. He’s my best friend and we love each other dearly. You are so right about starting off slow. Learning to be Best Friends first, ...while building a tiny house will let you learn from the obstacles you 2 will have to to confront, & how you handle solving the problems that arise. It's a partnership of sorts, with compromises, & willingness to hear the other party's ideas & suggestions. Hopefully, .....BFFs 4 EVER!
It's good to have a friend around and if things grow further, she's a great gal to do it wit. She's got her head on her shoulders, she modivated, fun, and hard working with a old soul.

One word of advice from someone who has lived through many trials, just take your time, as much time as you need, but be open to what could be possible. Don't push it away out of fear, or worry. You and Melisa work well together, and it's a good thing that you are excited to see her coming back and want to do something special for her. Just remember, if things do work out, don't ever let these moments pass you by and forget.

Love Melisa - she does bring a different energy to your videos and the interaction of two good friends is apparent when y'all are on video. That said - you two are already in a relationship lol - you're friends....... that's where excellent significant relationships start from. And if your relationship just becomes better friendship - that's awesome!!! I have friends that I've had for over 35 years - and that's an amazing experience too.
Just enjoy the journey and thank God that Melisa was able to join you at the perfect time. She only missed part of the build and there basics of what she missed you'll show her when putting together the frame of the rest of the porch lol. It looks almost the same as a floor support or a wall - except for the extra headers and footers for windows 😜.
