Yes, for tip 1-B: campfires were nerfed during the production of this video. However, creative workarounds already exist: you can use braziers for fire instead for example, or you could avoid fire all together and use spikes. Also consider the overarching message of tip 1, namely using spawners in general as farms, not just greydwarfs. The surtling spawn farm is untouched for example. Thanks for watching & don't forget to subscribe!
Additionally, for tip #2, if you hit "R" while you have a shield and one-hander equipped it will sheath both. And if you hit "R" again to bring your weapons back out its a faster then reequipping, specially if you are using a one-hander and shield because you have to equip them separately.
Watched all three videos so far. Some tips I had been using instinctually, like linking everything with portals, building outposts regularly (pretty much every island), and realizing the utility of bronze nails. Some I didn't need, like farms (have tons of stacks of wood, stone, eyes, and cores just from exploring and SO MUCH RESIN) Trolls (quickly discovered the value of dodging) and planting seeds (figured it out). Some, however were jaw dropping, like using the hoe to create a platform, structures to limit enemy spawn radius, and cart on a karve. Keep up the good work!
Planting seeds based on a rythm is now gone with the new cooldown implemented in-between clicks, also campfires take damage while dealing damage so greydwarf farms are a bit more difficult to pull off but changing the fires to braziers did the trick for me!
Real pro tip. The C key changes your movement from jogging to actual walking so you can slow down and plant seeds easier. Still gotta time the click but you can continuously hold down a direction and plant in a line
Tip 6.9! Gonna recommend this to all my friends. This vid helped so much. Just got into this game about 2 weeks ago and I'm insanely addicted. You just fueled the fire brotha!
@@its_trenner2900 also another tactic is using the stagbreaker or iron sledge. They pop the crops up without damaging them then you can just run through them. Still takes a lot of button pushes though, you get roughly 4 to 8 crops depend on spacing per attack.
Thanks for that wishbone tip, I honestly did not know that iorn ore spawned in the overworld, and I was about to make a new world just to raid more swamp crypts.
You just find muck, so actually running around the swamp looking with the wish bone is far less effective than crypt raiding, since you will still find more iron from chests than mining muck.
Instead of using R for putting away weapons equip your crafting hammer then hit the hot key again to put it away then you don’t have the slow walk while putting you weapon away so Double tap your crafting hammer hot key to be full sprint instantly !
Tip 8 was so good. as I thought I was fucked when I camped out at the top of the snow mountains with out gear and had now way of getting down without freezing to death. I should have destroyed the bed - thanks for the vid.
Note that fire-based traps are nerfed. They'll still WORK--but now the fire takes damage as it deals out damage, so eventually, unless you hang around and repair them, they'll destroy your fires.
Subbed and liked. Spell check: equipped has 2 p's. Bring wolves to your greydwarf spawn farms. Fires are broken Portal from fire fissure to fissure and get continuous spawn vs just afk.
That's actually 10 wood and 4 stone per click of the raise ground button. Those stacks of stone go by really quickly. Especially when you're using it for more legit functions like raising ground to level it for base building. Making indestructible earthbending pillars tend to be much cheaper for some reason (Some quick maths would show you the reason, but even after knowing why, it's still dumb). My plains farm outpost is walled off using earthworks and a moat around it. So far, I haven't been invaded by a single deathsquito while within the walls. The hoe is indeed the most OP weapon in the game. New patch means we have to rebuild the campfires after awhile or actually camp them with the repair function now. =/ Devs don't like industrial solutions to their problems it seems.
This title invites the game of "How many did you already know". For me it was tips 1, 2 (you can also press the number of the weapon again), 4 (though I suck at parrying), 8, 10. Lots I didn't know though, great tips, nice video!

When you move that’s when Stam drains It won’t recover until you’re standing on ground This tip is useful for Mining the chiton off the leviathan sinking islands with groups. If you’re floating and stranded just wait for someone to come close with the boat

Nizar GG, in your next Tips video you should add the C Key. It changes between your normal walk speed and a slower walk. Use this when planting crops and it will be way easier to time planting. It actually works really well with the new delay on the cultivator too. P.S. I still plant strafing side to side. :)

Core wood can be found in the small lean-to shelters scattered around the map, with a circle of stones beside them, usually 4 core wood per structure. Destroy or deconstruct at least two of these and you'll have enough to make the Fine Wood Bow. Or for that matter knocking down bee hives the most efficient and safe way. Nice video but tip 7 only works in single. Me and my friends had a Cast Away situation when all but the pilot went AFK inside a Drakkar and he jump in the water to get some Seaserpent Meat, lefting the sail full on...

Lol. I only have 92 hours in and barely iron age, so I watched it and it's commercials! I just discovered how nice portals are!
@@gregoryquint7653 wtf did you do for 92 hours to not have portals haha
@@joakimdam9723 well, my first boat ride I went out feeling strong trying to set up camp near second boss....I saw Black Forest trees, then scary trees, day became night and I saw nice looking grass to land.in....then I saw scary lights, and a mosquito. Two boats later I got my gear back, because I listened to a video, that daid left unattended, creatures will attack buildings with portals. That hasn't been true!!
@@joakimdam9723 Hey, he obviously did like me and spent a Hell of a lot more time then he’d like to admit on picking berries and taming a shitload of boars. Everyone knows that farming pigs for hours and hours is the only true way to play Valheim like a real pro!
Hahahaha commit sudoku!
Pro tip: always get a queen bee by salvaging the structure the bee hive is attached to and NOT directly destroying it.
I think they changed the drop rate on the queen bee. I have destroyed like 15 bee hives (with a bow) and it has dropped 100% of the time
@@keaganveness7988 ah. I was salvaging before the patch (only like 4-5 nests total) and always got them.
you can destroy the nest, it will drop the queen bee every time 100%. no need to waste your time destroying the building
Pro tip: use your eyes and see that the queen bee has simply dropped on the roof or another surrounding location. They are a guaranteed 100% drop chance.
@@keaganveness7988 it has always been 100%
A lot of them feel more like exploits than tricks / hints.
Where is my cookie? 🤣
Cores not working for me, they stopped spawning.
Wow maybe because I have workbench close by?
yes :) remove it :D
How often do they spawn? I keep putting down workbenches and deleting them to make them spawn
@@nightsky549 i have no timer. But This is how i farm them. I have like 3 Camps of them where i put the entire respawn area of them under water :) And i just visit it from time to time, and collect the coal and cores. I get the feeling, that they respawn when i come next day, and then they die, atleast i hear the sounds. But i never respawn camped them so there i cant help.
almost al the stuff you mention i figured out myself just by playing the game :|
10 wood and 40 stone you mean
ok, gonna put this here first then watch the vid, if there are 5 or more i didn't know I'll sub, will be back with an update at the end :)
