Hannah, I am probably one of your most unlikely followers. I am not only old enough to be your mother, I'm old enough to be your grandmother. But you are an influencer to me. What you do for a living was not imaginable when I was your age. There was no internet, no personal computers, no cell phones. We had libraries, typewriters and landlines. But we had the same issues as you do now. Anyone with an iota of humility will always have imposter syndrome. And who isn't tempted to waste the day away on social media or binging on some stupid show? You're doing just fine and you're adorable. Please keep making your content for your peers and us old farts too.

I graduated from high school in 2018. My sophomore year in high school I made a decision that would completely change my life. I decided to go to a vocational school that my school had the option to go to. I went for welding. Turns out I have a passion for welding. There's just something about laying down a good weld just brings me so much joy. I'm good at my job and what I do. I love my job and my company and my supervisor. I'm so happy that things are finally turning around for me. I've been through a lot in my life. A lot of job hopping bc of a choice that I made a few years ago. If your reading this comment. If you happen to be in a relationship with someone who's manipulative, abusive in any way, forceful with everything, or just in anyway shape or form if your gut is telling you to leave. Take my advice and leave. If they are trying to make you quit your job that you love. Leave. Trust me if I could go back in time, I would've listened to my gut. Life will through you many challenges but you have to know and that you can get through it and you will. I guarantee that you will mke it through. If you ever feel lonely or you feel afraid, look up bible verses or positive quotes. You will make it. You are strong enough, you are beautiful/handsome. You are enough, you are loved.

I also graduated last year with literally no plan in mind. I decided to move back to my motherland that I haven't lived in for an extended amount of time since the age of 11. Those were the best months of my life to date. When I went back, I decided to apply for a masters degree next school year. And while waiting for my admission to come through. I randomly thought well why not just work while I wait. So now I'm working at one of the best hospitals in the Netherlands waiting to be admitted at one of the best universities in the Netherlands while all of this was not planned at all last year. Life is better when you don't plan everything out. You can have dreams, just don't put a deadline one them

A lesson I learned the hard way re: creating a schedule. I made sure I made appointments/deadlines that I can't break. If I don't have an outside force making me accountable, I would never self-motivate. For me it's just a personality trait - I just needed to find a way to manage it that works for me.

WOW. Not even through and I can honestly say, you nailed it. About passing grades vs learning. I’m 30 yrs older than you and to this day, I regret nothing about leaving college to pursue my sport, which lead to my job and career. I was in an arts program and just found it a waste of money. Teaching me about ‘creative writing’ when I wanted to be IN the world living life to be able to write about that vs being taught to write. I was about 20 or 21, and it was some of the hardest work I’ve ever done, but the most rewarding and it expanded from there. Then, I went about becoming a certified coach, which was a process. This is why I don’t tell people to leave school, but to know that, like you, if it’s not working, you have to do what you feel is right for your situation and circumstances.

I wanted to thank you Hannah, last year I was a nursing student, then I saw your videos and I learned about "Marketing," I had never heard about Marketing as a major - in general I didn't know much about the business field options, mostly because I was in Healthcare. However, I saw your videos, and it really made me interested in Marketing (also other factors), so I switched my major. I will not lie, ot has been quite stressful, because "bussiness" is a complete new world, and I didn't had much knowledge about it. Recently I have felt like I should have done all these things already, and that I need to do this amount of things more, and then one advisor telling me to consider Accounting or HR... I don't know, it has been overwhelming and quite sad. You were so right about the "unsolicited advice." I don't have a channel like you, or social media presence as a creator, we come from different backgrounds and I probably don't have as much experience or knowledge as my advisors might want me to have, but I have certain goals, they might not be set on stone or have the most clear step by step layout, but I am simply trying my best ! Thank you for this video, for the advice of not having everything figure out, and that that is okay - for the advice of not comparing yourself to others, and that everyone is just trying their best too. This will definitely be my comfort video ♡

I love your way of thinking!! It is really interesting hearing your perpectives. And how you are navegating more trough a gray area, saying that everyones path life is different. And not being like it is this or it is that. Also the chapters part. It is so right, everyone is through a different step of their lives, even if two people are the exact same age. I graduated college in 2011 with a degree in Anthropology, but ended up getting a job at a corporate company right after graduation. Did I end up in my dream job? No. Did I end up learning more about myself and what I like and don’t like while at this company? Yes. And I’m still learning. Thru my various positions with this company I learned that I love training people and creating training material for various learning types. So I found my way into a position here with the company that does exactly that and I’m happy. Was it part of the plan? No.
I really enjoyed this video. You have a lot of really good things to say and I think it’s important for people to hear the things you talked about. Even I needed to hear it and I’ve been “out in the real world” for 10+ yrs. ❤️

Wow. Not me breaking down into tears about external pressures about the way my life should be going. And making me feel unsure if I’m making the ‘right’ move. It’s my life and my choice the way it should go. People can be well meaning with saying something but all it does is make you doubt. “Nobody else is living your life! Nobody else is responsible for your life or your quality of life or anything else but you! You’re just trying to do the best thing that you can do for yourself!” Thank you so much Hannah for this video!!! 🤍🤍🤍 I get what you mean about potentially jinxing things before they’ve happened. It’s great to have the reminder not to compare yourself because everyone is in different chapters. Sometimes tricky to convince yourself but it’s a great reminder.

Hi Hannah I just graduated 2 weekends ago and it is terrifying! Thank you for giving me something to relate to queen. I’m in this weird limbo in between getting accepted at grad school / finding another source of income. You are literally one of my role models Hannah thank you so much for inspiring me with your videos!!

So relatable. Once you figure out how to stick to your own plan, please let me know. No amount of bullet journaling and planning makes me stick to it.

I completely agree with point Number 1!!!!!! Right now I am planning on returning to school to take my Prerequisite classes in science (3 classes I need) for my MS in Genetics Counseling because August 2021 I spoke with a doctor to Medical Students and I LOVED it...and in October I spoke with her through Genetics interest...and she suggested Genetics Counseling...and I did research and LOVED it!!!!!! So much so that I have an Interview with the GC in her office on June 15th (which I might also see if I can shadow her). Genetics Counseling is something I am SUPER passionate about and I LOVE the relationship with my doctor!!!!!!!!!

One thing I’ve had to do lately with getting things done/motivation is creating deadlines for myself and convincing my brain that that action or project or whatever is DUE that day and I still struggle with it but it’s definitely helped some. I usually make reminders on my phone or put it in my agenda btw

i did a year and a half of college and kinda hated it. i did one semester from home and liked it a lot better but still didn’t love it cause it was all the basic required stupid classes that have nothing to do with my major (which was business at first then “undecided”) i’m taking a break from school rn to figure out what i wanna do and just work. i thought i knew what i wanted to do, interior design, i love building things and putting things together and also designing with interior spaces and i love tiles and things like that 😂 i’m looking for an online course i can take to get my degree in that without having to take all those random classes and it’s all so complicated for no reason but i’m kinda thinking i don’t really wanna do this yet, i’m really enjoying not being in school and just working, my mom on the other hand wants me to start right away and not waste time cause it’s gonna take about 4 years to actually get certified as an interior designer. (yet she’s only just now starting up her newborn photography business again) it’s a lot to think about and this video helped me realize a lot of things. ♥️

This has really helped since I've graduated from high school. I've started my own business and I decided to take a gap year and people have been telling me it's a bad idea. So it just worries me but at the same time, ik what I doing and have a general plan.
Ig what I'm saying is that your video(s) really help and confirm my thoughts and help my worries❤

*Hannah on a blind date with somebody*
    Date: “What’s on your mind?”
*Hannah rambling through the entirety of the decisions philosophy in ‘point 1’*
Either the date would decide that you are the one and you are getting married, or it would completely freak them out. Either way, I’m here for it. 😅
