When you listen to Rudy, you have to remember he speaks from the pov of having unlimited funds, better distro rates than anyone that is non box store will get, doesn’t worry about being shorted on his order, and never has to worry about his capital being tied up because it’s supplemented by his real estate and other market investments. 99.4% of you out there will never be able to live by his advice at the level he talks about. But maybe one day

USA takes a bit longer but prices always plummet they adjust rates and print like crazy. The only real value in pokemon tcg is following the new set and the game meta. OLD OG cards are the only thing investable.

Magic the Gathering, Pokémon and Lorcana will be worth the investments long term. Great foundational roots and logistically pliability to an ever changing market. Both upon wishful intrinsic nostalgia and ever growing generation fan base.

What's up with Pokemon having fake sealed product... like, I got 2 and I opened 1, and I thought the paper quality was like just from another printer...but there were non foils of foil ex cards(lol); however, I put the second one up on ebay, and it was bid up to $400 and some people were messaging me, "you know that box is fake right?" and I was like, "How do you know" and they replied, "there's no copyright symbol on the branded seal around the box"... So all these counterfeiters have to do is put the copyright symbol on some of their seals and those boxes won't be known to be fake until someone buys it and opens it. The Pokemon community is like the Wine Collector community it seems. Like, that Logan Paul is going to audit a collection someday and find out 8% is counterfeit, like that Koch brother's wine collection. I'm going to list my sealed counterfeit sword and shield box on eBay and say it's fake in the description and see what happens so day.
