Fun fact electricity as in the movement of electrons is actually very slow. At 1 amp and electron will only move about a meter and a half a day. Your lights turn on quickly because each electron "pushes" the electron in front of it (actually behind it because current moves in the opposite direction of electrons) creating a very fast chain reaction. Genuinely Terrific Roadcar the GTR is!! the stopwatch doesnt lie either , the haters are gonna hate no matter what, I'd have this before many other supercars as theres one simple fact not clearly made about this car here and its performance is easier to extract than others

No, it does not blend in. And Nissan has been making absolute garbage after the Renault merger. Their Jatco autoboxes being the worst part of their cars.
at the 1:15 mark, its clearly accelerating away from what i think is hammerhead, headed towards a straight. However you can see him decelerate (hit the brakes) and lift off the throttle, to turn the car more, and THEN get back on the throttle to begin the straight. that looked to me to be at least a loss of 0.6 seconds. And given what a lousy driver youd have to be to make that mistake, i can only imagine how much time he lost everywhere else. That being said, it did look tremendously quick, not my favorite car by ethos, but what a remarkable machine this is.
I believe they regulate themselves to 6 laps, 3 to get to know the car and no more than 3 attempts, otherwise they would be there all day fiddling. They also do not allow the manufacturers to fiddle inbetween laps either. The only exception was Ferrari with the FXX that they prepared especially for the run, had a team there and Schumacher drove it - but it was never an official power lap either. I hear that Tom Cruise wouldn't do the driver in reasonably priced car unless he and Diaz had unlimited access to car and laps, they were there for hours apparently, and hence why they got fastest lap times back at the time.

The onboard version of this lap looked terrible.
All the cars above it are only milliseconds faster it's just that theirs a lot of cars their. Probably faster around the track than your car.
