It's based on a stretched VW Passat B2 platform, Made by a joint venture of VW and SAIC from 1983 to 2013, it's the first modern passenger car to be mass-produced in China, if you wanted to buy a car as a Chinese citizen back in the 80s and early 90s you realistically only had this one option, it's basically China's Model T.
Also named the Quantum in the US from '82 to '88. I have an '85 Quantum wagon I spent all weekend getting running again and wake up today not up to date with Forza news seeing this pile of garbage added to a racing game. What a strange coincidence.
It was called Santana in Europe too, was the luxury version of the Passat which in early 80's was a hatchback. Then VW launched the Santana as sedan and a cheaper car with Audi features. Late 80's they canceled the name Santana and branded as Passat.
Here in Brazil we have 3 versions of the EA827 called "AP" here, 1.6/1.8/2.0 and its so reliable man we love these engines, even with turbo modifications theses things can take a beat
@douglasravaneda1928 Concordo totalmente! O meu pai adorava o Santana. Lembro até hoje que ele me levava pra escola nele, escutando a fita do Phil Collins no toca-fitas 😁
As a creator, I got R9 from Moza for free, but back then you could buy Moza stuff only from the official store and shipping + customs were quite expensive. Now, more retailers have Moza gear, so it's cheaper. I like R9, for me it's perfect. I only wish it has console support. If you have plans for more gear from Moza (shifter, handbrake etc.) R12 will be perfect, as it has internal hub so you can plug everything what you need directly into the base.

For who doesnt know, this car is the 2⁰ gen of Passat, but is named as Santana In Brasil and China.
And this is the Chinese version, hence the “上海大众”logo on the rear and the fact that this is a 2012 model.

Not only Brasil. But this car is a very confortable and reliable car. When VW made good quality vehicles
Yes
We Brazilians love this car
Chinese like too😂
One of the most famous 80/90' sedans here in Brazil. Man i wished Playground Games added more "common" family cars for FH5 it would be a blast!!
My dad had one of this. 2door, 1987 Santana 1.8 EA827. I still love this car.

This is literally the most well known car in China, the same model has been built since 1980s to 2012. Insane
like the Beetle in Brazil 1959-1996
or sambabus 1953-2013
That engine swap list is massive
This is just so slow boring that I absolutely love it.
Probably one of the most important car on the Chinese automotive history.
My father had a four-door, 1990, metallic green GLS 2.0 model. Sometimes he took me to school in it 😊
Nissan Tsuru: "Finally! A worthy opponent! Nuestra carrera (Our race in spanish) will be legendary!"

Do you have a carburetor or not?
Eu entendi a referência!

Kind of off topic but I didn't know you could set HP, Nm and kg values to show together, I couldn't find it in Forza Motorsport.
Skoro następny miesiąc ma być poświęcony motoryzacji europejskiej, to licze, że do tej gry trafi Passerati B5 1.9 TDi
Car looks like it came out of 1984 no way is it 2012
It was sold as 2012 model in China, but is tecnically a car from the 90's
it was built, pretty much unchanged, in China from 1983 to 2013!
You could say the same to the Nissan Tsuru? But yeah, they pretty much are recent models
Brazil has been summoned
