Hi! I was in this coffeeshop about 3 years ago: yes, really nice taste of coffee! It was a pleasure to recall about these place and time - thanks for positive video!
Great video! I live in California and really miss the egg coffee in Hanoi. We always stopped by Cafe Giang the last 3 times in Hanoi, as well as Cafe Pho Co. As far as Banh Mi goes, one of my favorite is Banh Mi Queen in Hoi An.
Egg Coffee, Bahn Mi, Coconut Coffee are 3 of the biggest discoveries in Vietnam. The uniqueness and freshness of Vietnamese cuisine were one of the highlights of my 2 visits to Vietnam.

Recently known your channel, and been my the most favorite one, Van. Watching your videos almost every day to improve my English. I like the way you present, and the way you use words. I will definitely go to Hanoi someday to try all the stuff that you introduced to us. Thanks Van! From TX
Hi Van Vu..., I would like a Vietnamese Egg Coffee and a Sandwich, too... Excellent video and very informative..., especially the ( history ) of the Egg Coffee, and the sandwich looks delicious and crunchy... Awesome video, and thank you for sharing the video... I ( loved ) the video... Bright, intelligent, and attractive... Mike in Montana :)
Thank you so much for your videos, You are not only helping foreigner to know more about Vietnam but also for Vietnamese people who want to learning English.
I had my first banh mi in Hoi An in Dec 2011. Absolutely amazing. Love ‘em! You’ve made me hungry now! I’ve never had egg coffee, but will when I next come to VN - I’m planning for May/June this year!!!!!!! 🙏🤞🙃 But, I do like ca phe. Haha! The hardest part is waiting for the coffee to drip through 😅

You remind me so much of Jen from the YT channel "From head to toe" with your bright personality. I'm gonna show my students this video today so they can learn some useful expressions in speaking. Thank you for bringing Vietnamese culture closer to both foreign friends and Vietnamese people
I am from India and I have spent like 5 months backpacking Vietnam. My love for Banh Mi is so much that I am opening a cafe in my city in India (Guwahati) serving Banh Mi. I will be making the bread myself and have more or less got to a good point of making the bread. I will start the cafe in a month - excited....!!!
I love these sandwiches! I’ve only tried them in China where we have lots of Vietnamese restaurants. The first time I tried it I said it was the best sandwich I’d had in Shanghai! All my mates who have been to Vietnam say it’s even better there. Can’t wait to try one in Hanoi soon!
Your show made VN Hải Ngoại want to come to Ha noi for this "special egg coffee Milk sticky" I really miss Hai Noi , last 8 years ago I saw Hanoi very fun place to visit & talking to warm people
Yes it’s a great pairing. After walking the Night Bazaar went to Dinh Liet get the Banh Mi cross the street to enjoy it with egg coffee in Kafa Cafe. Banh Mi beats Subway hands down.
I had Banh Mi when i was in the HCM aka Saigon, but I found it to taste similar to the Aussie version of bread roll. I am still asian at heart and would still prefer rice and noodles any day... haha...
You can find a similar egg coffee in Southern California (Fountain Valley) at this place called "Nep Cafe". Van, if you're ever in Socal, your first cup is on me - cheers!
Exactly, she has an American native accent ... at first, i thought that she was born in US or a "Mỹ con" 😁😁😁. I really admire her when I know she just had lived and studied in US for 7 years.
@0:33 "Drinks' on me" isn't something you should say to someone who thinks that coffee is life. I've never been to Vietnam but now that i've moved from Canada to Japan, Vietnam could be in a future long weekend trip or extended vacation. I've heard so much about the egg coffee and am really really looking forward to trying.
Wow. You sound more like you were Born in the United State of America 🇺🇸 Your English so Amazing. I Have been living in here in the United State of America 🇺🇸 for over forty years. and for a very first time that I watch your channel. I was so very impressed.
I had that egg coffee with rum at Da Nang(Irini resto) and as the name suggests, it’s sweet alcoholic in a nice way. It’s delicious but it’s one of those drinks that you have to follow up with a glass of water after consuming to clear your throat. Banh Mi in Hoi An is awesome too with that herbal flower juice(I forgot the name).
I've only had egg coffee here in Orange County at Da Vien. Not sure how it compares to the original in Hanoi. Trung Nguyen Legend cafe just opened up so looking forward to trying theirs
I think it would be great if you mention about the price of the coffee and banh mi to the people watching this channel. Many probably never come to VietNam and would be surprised to know such good food at very affordable price.
Ahh I love ca phe trung! I remember a small shop next to giang cafe that was just as good, but last time I was in Hanoi two years ago I was sad that it was closed.
Thích gương mặt bạn này ghê, xinh đẹp thông minh và lém lỉnh, cách dẫn chuyện rất tự nhiên.
Damn I just barely found this channel, I comment, I like, I subscribe
