Back with a brand new video.
Here is the evolution of Blue Thunder, one of my favourite trucks of all time!
This video was so much fun to work on and I hope you guys enjoy it!

Arguably Monster Jam's most underrated truck. Incredible it still sees use today, and it's LONG overdue for a championship win. It wouldn't surprise me, that a Blue Thunder win, is coming soon. Todd Leduc is pushing this thing to it's limits, as it should be.
IMO blue thunder still has a win because of the Tie it had that resulted in a tie breaker
But blue thunder was able cause that tie in the first place so it was good enough to win
R.I.P. Toney Farrell in my opinion the driver people think of when they think of Blue Thunder❤️❤️❤️
I really miss the old Super Duty body style. I hope FELD either brings it back (We know they're still made in that body style since Stone Crusher still runs it) or upgrades it to a modern super duty.
To me, It just isn't fitting at all for Blue Thunder to be an F-150 body. Especially since that body style is 10-15 years old now and seems to be getting phased out slowly.
I miss the Super Duty body as well. It's very nostalgic. However, I actually don't mind the F-150 body. I kinda like the way it looks on some trucks
You should be thankful that FELD still has a pickup truck these days. Almost everything has been 3D bodies and not real life trucks such as the pickup. (Btw I am not referring to independents and I’m also not talking about retired trucks)
I miss the super duty body and the dual flags too
I loved this truck. It was my favorite as a kid. So sad it never got a world championship, cause it deserved to win freestyle in 2013.
Even though it never won a world championship, Blue Thunder will always be awesome.
I honestly think since blue thunder lost it's main sponsor in 2013 and had the new body change, Blue thunder has had a dramatic downfall when it comes to the fans. I used to love blue thunder it was one of my favorites. But after the change in 2013 I lost interest in the truck. That's just my view.
Blue Thunder is one of the greatest underrated monster trucks in Monster Jam

Blue thunder was my favorite growing up. I still remember just how loud that truck was compared with the rest of the crowd. Just an amazing truck
As a kid, Blue Thunder was my favorite truck and El Toro Loco was my older brothers favorite. I remember we bought a dvd of Monster Jam Tour Crushers which included highlights of both trucks. I hope they bring the old style back one day.
It's very sad that Dalton Millican and Tony Farrell had died... But at least they're performing monster truck shows in heaven...

This truck is where simple and creative come together. IMO the best truck to ever exist
I was at the 2016 Young Guns Shootout and we actually sat close to Tyler Menninga's... I can't remember if they were his parents or grandparents

Linsey Weenk’s new Cohen chassis debuted at the final Metrodome show.
I strongly dislike the 2013 body. The Super Duty body stood out, but the F 150 looks like a lot of other trucks. Not to mention the horrendous light blue color. If needs be, the F 150 can work, as has been the case with Hot Wheels using it a few times, but it would look infinitely better with the old dark blue scheme.
I don't know if it's just me but I like the 2001 body and 2013
After the Ford sponsorship ended it’s understandable that Feld would reboot the brand in a different shade of blue and a different body. Not sure why some fans can’t accept change 🤷♂️
@@stevenfarrington2361 With the body, like I said, it just looks like all the other trucks that used it. If they did something like the 3D body Shocker used to have, I’d be fine with that. It’s not so much how it looks, but how generic it looks.

I always liked the 2013 body, but I will say I personally think the 2013 scheme woulda looked amazing on the super duty body.

i remember being at monster jam at stafford years ago and in the pit party my dad noticed the truck actually had a chevy motor in it despite it still having the ford body/sponsor

I've always thought highly of Blue Thunder, especially when Tony Farrell was driving ( RIP Tony) was annoyed when Lindsey Wenk jumped ship from the Bounty Hunter/Iron Outlaw team to drive Blue Thunder.Sometimes wondered if B T was M J's answer to not having BIGFOOT in their stable. The dark blue was almost the same as BF's until recent years and was directly sponsored by Ford. Maybe it's just me, lol. I'll never forget the 1st Blue Thunder from the 80s. It was based on a 67 Chevy Camaro and was built

Holy shit, can't remember any other truck being able to do wheelies from a dead stop. I know it's kinda unwanted especially when it comes to racing but damn that's cool.
Blue thunder is a hard truck to see now days but I was happy to see it back at Ford Field earlier this year and hopefully it keeps a driver next year

Not to put a damp on it but not much to talk about. An Escalade, A black Escalade, Mohawk warrior, Great clips, not much.
Bigfoot is great and all but Blue Thunder was and still is my Ford Monster Truck Favorite!

My first favorite monster jam truck
I know I might be in the minority here, But I personally like the newer Blue Thunder look because the F-150 body style feels more modern to me (Not the Super Duty body was considered dated) and the new lighter blue paint scheme makes the truck more vibrant and lively in my opinion (Again, Not that the dark blue scheme was considered dull).
My absolute favorite monster truck to date. And I think the very first Blue thunder with the super duty body and the small logo might be my favorite one out of all the other Blue Thunders.
Blue Thunder will always be the Best Truck and will always be My Favorite Childhood Truck Right Next to Max D, El Toro Loco, Bounty Hunter, King Krunch, Stone Crusher, Medusa, Monster Mutt, and Monster Mutt Dalmatian

Awesome video! One question I have after seeing it go through so many driver changes is, will Todd LeDuc stay in Blue Thunder for the long haul or will another driver take over some time in the coming years? I actually think that other than Monster Energy, Blue Thunder really suits him

Aside from Grave Digger, Blue Thunder would be my favorite monster truck in Monster Jam. Aside from Matt Cody's Speedster World Championship, I wanna see Blue Thunder win a World Title, especially since some former World Champions have even driven said truck, like Todd Leduc and Pablo Huffaker.
