We were invited to stay on a private island off the coast of Langkawi, Malaysia, or so we thought... When we turned up things didn't quite go to plan and we were quickly kicked off the island!
We luckily managed to resolve the issue and had a wonderful time in a beautiful luxury hotel but I guess that's all just part of the adventure!

Rebak island? It is private and a marina. Many rich people repair their boats there.

@SilkyRonTheRoad I saw several kiwis and Americans repairing their boats there. They are vloggers as well. The latest one was titled "sailing sunyasa". An American family who owned a yoga studio and sold everything to travel by catamaran.

@@nonama1000 yes, we always respect the laws and cultures of every country we visit we just thoughts that hotels are different as it is not a “public” area and there was no one else around.
