Liezl Jayne Strydom 6 meals a day is a little excessive, but I guess different methods work for different people. With my lifestyle 6 meals a day would not be practical. I’m more a 3 meal a day kinda person, and that works well around my day to day life and work. I love your videos you’re doing a great job, very inspiring. 👍🏼

      Liezl Jayne Strydom
You had me when you said you were not once hungry.
Please do more of these for us fatties that want food all the time. Face it, eating all the time for years got me to the 200 pound mark. I do fine on any diet till I get good and hungry. Then I binge out.
Your dinner is just lovely. It is a meal to sit down to and enjoy. I thought of the movie that had first breakfast and second breakfast and laughed.
Truly thankful for you taking the time to do this. Showing every step, the size of the pan, what it looks like when it is cooking and when it is done, just showing every step, everything you need to do to chop and mix makes it easy to believe I can live this way.
I would add two grape tomatoes cut in half to the side of the egg pan till they heat through for some added color on the plate.
I will cut the snack bars once more for 20 squares instead of ten. I know it is the same but it will look like more to my inner child, as in two must be more than one. I will really pack the mix firm so the thin corner edges do not turn to crumbs. See what all you have taught me!
I live up north almost to Canada so hot drinks are nice. I often have a cup of very hot water with a large slice of lemon floating on top. This lets me use up my older limes too.
Looks like I will be buying a spice grinder or a bullet myself.
LA is hot so some cold drinks like a slushy would be nice now that it is July and Aug our hottest months.
      Thanks again.

I'm 5'3 and I've been 114 once in my full grown body in high school and even then I didn't have a tiny tummy. Bone and muscle mass can really vary your weight. There are 150 pound skinny minnies walking around. That's why I like BMI. But if you're a body builder, then it says you're obese so it is not always accurate. I now weight 156 pounds 10 years out of high school and injured my body at the gym from being too motivated to lose the weight. Woops. I try to buy healthy things, but not getting enough veggies and eating too big of portions is my downfall. Also...I'm American. Restaurants sometimes serve you 3 portions on one dinner plate! I like that Leizl tries to eat a variety of things so it is not boring!

I just found your channel and love the meal prep videos. What I love most, however, is your sound nutritional approach to what you eat. Weight loss or not, I love that you're not promoting some extreme, not-sustainable "diet." As I know you know , diets never work, not in the long-term. Learning to eat nutrient-dense foods in the right portions -- that's what can work. Thanks for putting out some smart food wisdom into the universe.

I made a variation of your recipe for the chicken and balsamic green beans/peas and it was seriously one of the most delicious dinners I’ve ever had. I adjusted it to my liking (added asparagus spears and extra garlic). I am probably going to make it again. (Also maybe a cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce a little?) I used to hate balsamic vinegar and your recipe has changed the way I see it as an ingredient! So delicious!

Do you ever eat cheat meals? And I mean like proper unhealthy food like if the occasion calls, like if you're going out with family etc. I don't think I can ever fully give up things like chocolate and ice cream, cause the moment I try to cut them out I crave them even more and end up wanting to binge. Plus I developed an eating disorder before because of restriction. But I still want to lose weight I'm 60kg and that's not very good, I just want to lose weight but also don't feel like I'm back in my eating disorder

Hey I personally think that it can be unhealthy to totally restrict yourself and fully give up foods like chocolate (unless you're allergic or have an intolerance) - it's unrealistic to eat 100% healthy foods all the time in my opinion. I too used to have an eating disorder which developed due to restrictive eating

Omg I love this!! It’s interesting that your meals are 200 cal and you big meals are 400 cal. Thank you for the size of your food because it simplifies the calculations for calories. I can tell you love cooking and love food that it’s tasty. Eve thing is so well seasoned!!! I love you’re using herbs and spices to add floor without worrying about added calories:) I see this is a old video so I’ll have to check more. Thank again

Awesome meal prep ideas...I'm in the US and I actually thought you were making a mistake saying "Sweet Potatoes", when they had white skin not orange like ours, they're what I'm used too, but then I googled white sweet potatoes....learned something new...lol. Thanks for posting. :)

I enjoy your recipes and have tried several of them. This chicken with the peas and green beans looks tasty. I wondered if you ever use a crockpot. Do you have any healthy crockpot recipes? One of my big things is to cook a batch of something in the crockpot and then divide it out into containers and freeze freeze them so that I have a variety of healthy meal options in my freezer at any given time. I'm sort of in a rut on trying to think of something new to cook with it, though.
