  • You spoke, we listened! We're bringing back the style of videos you all have been asking for!
    Today is the day I can finally go and pick up my dream car. It has been over 2 years since I first found the car and today I will get to bring it home. We are heading to Uncle Dave's storage unit to get it out of a storage unit that hasn't been touched in over 40 years. Mean while Kash and Anthony are finishing up the Trolly Hauler so they can go take it to the middle of lake bed.
    Thanks for watching!

    Love your post but FYI they made a 210 hard top as well as a two dr sedan and four dr s and wagons they did the same in Belair models also and not all 2 dr 57 Chevy wagons were Nomads

    • @danportenier8416
      @danportenier8416 4 года назад

      Yes, 1957 Bel Air = 2 & 4 dr hardtop, 2 & 4 door sedan , 4 dr post station wagon, (6 passenger) , 2 door hardtop wagon (Nomad), and convertible. All those were available in 210 trim except the Nomad and convertible. In addition the 210 was available as a 2 door wagon. Then came the 150 series, available as a 2 or 4 door sedan, or a 2 dr station wagon or sedan delivery.

    Thanks for showing your cars and I’m not sure if anyone has pointed this out but some of your statements are a little misleading. Not all hardtops are Belairs and not all sedans are 210s, you could get them with both trim levels. The rubber bullets on the front bumper are not Belair only. 150s only came as sedans. Cheers.

    When I was 16 in 1974, I bought a 57 Chevy 2 door hard top, like your dad's! It ran even, I took the motor out, the next day cause I wanted to restore the car! A big job at 16! But here's another thing I found out! They made a three pieces front & back bumper, and one piece, front & back bumpers, if I remember right, three pieces was east coast, one piece west coast, anyway whatever it is I wanted to share it! Great video, even with the flaws in the filming! Thanks DESERT

    m My uncle owned 2 57 chevy"s when I 15 years old ( ya I"m that old ) , The bel air was the "Luxury " trim The interior was much nicer than the 210 , and the chrome /stainless trim was also muc much more fancy. You could tell who was more affluent by the trim level on thier cars in those days , and the bel air was the top level ( and most expensive ) chevy until the Impala was introduced. The other 57 my uncle hed,because he was a carpenter and needed it for his business , was what was called a "SEDAN DELIVERY" this a station wagon that had the window delete option....yup a station wagon with no windows that was used by businesses as a delivery truck or basic business vehicle like a vban is used today. Nice job on explainingthis for your fans, I just know this stuff because I have been a car nut since I was 5, and lived through this stuff , and still remember most of it like it was yesterday.

      Hey Joe, Your 1960 Pontiac is very cool. Most often the car project has sentiment with it. Maybe your Grandfather or your Dad's car or a project car that was never finished or very often it is the car you drove in High School.

If you put a wall and door between the bikes and the front area with a door, you could have the front half air conditioned and the cargo area in the back could serve as a back porch and shaded service area for the bikes. You are saying a Belair is a hardtop. I've owned 3, 1 -210 2-Belairs. I've never owned a hardtop. My dad bought a 2 door post Belair. It was 3 year old car. From the time l was sophomore in high school in 67 till 1970 l had a blue, a red, a yellow 57. I know 57 Chevys. I have a love for them too. I wish l still owned my yellow 57. It had a 283 with a 327/ 375 hp solid lift cam. It pushed the studs out of the stock heads and l had to get 327 heads that were the studs pinned, and had double springs on lifters (300 hp heads). That little motor would haul ass.
