I just learned about Sophie Trudeau’s divorce. Where do we begin! Canada is suffering and needs a revised government and so much more. I pray God will put more of a spirit of Esther into me, she is truly great example of obey God and be eternal blessings and also how God works things out here and now if were brave to do right for those we love, even when it could cost your life and everything, yet standing in the gap between opposition of the wicked schemes of others, that takes strength and courage and of corse faith in sovereign God to make it turn out in life even when it was not clear how such circumstances would turn out. This story of Esther touches my heart. Doing the right thing may not always be easy to call out the wrongs for what it is ,but yes it sure was worth it . However, just a small point of contention.
The late Dr Chuck Missler (Koinonia House Ministry, 1934 - 2018) in his Biblical Teachings taught that the punishments handed out to Jesus included his beard being ripped off, hence, after his RESURRECTION he wasn't identified:
1). Mary thought that he was the gardener who had carried the Lord Jesus away.
But when he called her by name she then knew it was indeed Jesus.
2). Two disciples on the road to Amayus walked a stranger and lamented about the Lord Jesus's death, not knowing that it was indeed Jesus Christ.
They only became aware of this fact when they saw the nail holes in his wrists, when Jesus broke the bread.
Chuck says that the only man made things in Heaven will be our SCARS.

Thanks for the interesting comparison to Joseph. I love how God flips the script. A queen will not come at the request of a king to his feast at the start. A king will come at a queen's request to her feast at the end twice. Esther comes under the curse of the law to save her people, a wonderful picture of Jesus atonement.

Actually His own received Him gladly and gave us the new testament. We should appreciate those early Jewish believers who spread the Good News. The non Jewish believers in Rome started mix and match with paganism and the Truth. Anti semitism in the non Jewish world started there. Let us not be confused about this. The ordinary Jewish people received Him Gladly. Religious leaders did not want trouble with Rome and its rulers over them. Let us be transformed by the renewing of our mind. Church attitude to the Jewish people since has been poisonous but must be addressed for our own sakes. We must all appear before the king of the Jews one day soon. Pray for His peace in Jerusalem as Our gracious Saviour requires. We all need more grace xx

( No more death is referring to death of spirit, because The Holy Spirit is quashed by wars, abuse, sin, hurt, slavery and oppression etc which take away peace and happiness and fall short of God's Love causing grief, pain, illness, sickness and death of the spirit leading to death of happiness and joy leading to depression, anxiety and sicknesses that in time lead to sickness and physical death. )
If there are millions of people on antidepressant and anxiety medication, then there are still millions of anxious and depressed people. Masking a symptom with a drug is not healing and so the fullness of the spirit and fruits of the spirit are lost and life looses joy and natural pleasure. This is why spiritism/pharmakia cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven and neither can the sinners.
For Life in accord with God's promise for life we must walk in and by God's Spirit of altruistic Love for Life. God's #Loveisnotacortisol stress hormone and God's Love guides us away from the causes of stress hormones to allow our endorphins to flourish.

Unprocessed grief can manifest as depression and other conditions.

That’s awesome! It makes so much sense that it’s tree instead of gallows. Assyria and Babylon are said to have possibly invented crucifixion. Darius 1 of Persia in 519BC crucified 3000 political enemies in Babylon. After conquering Persia, Alexander the Great took that practice back West with him and even crucified 2000 Phoenicians after his siege of Tyre. Carthage then adopted the practice from Alexander (either directly from him or from what went down in Tyre, as Tyre and Carthage are both Phoenician). The Romans then adopted crucifixion from Carthage due to the Punic Wars.

I cannot express here, how the timing I watched this entire Podcast, was from Jesus Himself, I was led to it by Holy Spirit, I personally am not Jewish, but my connection to the Book of Esther, and where it was connected to, leads to my own personal divine reversal, and my own deliverance from darkness and deception, Thank you Dr. Seth Postel, for this whole teaching!!!

Loved listening to Esther today. Celebration of Purim. The reversal stood out.
Ash clothes, fasting to royal robes, large royal crown and also purple linen, light and gladness , joy and honor .
I thought I had finished teaching my ladies Bible Study the book of Esther and Purim and then moving now to look at Passover…but though I had a few of these reversals in mind there were just a few more that clicked with me…that lead into Passover. Love the queen refuses to go to the banquet but then Esther gives TWO banquets! Doubling for good what was taken or missed in the beginning.
Also the leading of Mordecai around/into the capital city on a donkey/horse.… And Messiah/Jesus being led Into Jerusalem on a donkey just before a feast!
2024 PURIM, our eyes on our LORD JESUS and our FATHER. You are our victory over all Haman devices. We celebrate our GOD'S ability to reverse all oppression. ❤

Wonderful. I had the "inspiration" in 2014-15 to read the Bible from front to back, I wish all would do it. One of man things that it gave me was a much better feel of how He operates and how it all ties together. I know what you mean, Herschel. I’m not normally prone to crying out of the blue. When the Spirit is near only the hardest hearts aren’t touch.
It took me a long time to figure out that it’s not a religion, it’s a relationship.
It started when Moses spent time with God on the mountain. He had to cover his face when he came down because the Shekinah Glory was all over him. Anytime He is close there’s gonna be a whole lotta shaken going on.
The only thing we need to do is to maintain that closeness, instead of our idols and the screwed up world around us.

Great lesson. Why was this not obvious in ancient times? I'm reminded of what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:7-8. "But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory. None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory."

My heart weeps for Israel now, even as they weep returning to Israel, but more than that for Israel going through the great tribulation after we are gone....weeping for their eyes to be open to Jesus our Savior and for their rescue in salvation when Jesus comes on His horse and us with Him and the enemy of our souls is vanquished
