You know I love SCPs, but I think the most of the fanbase are nerds, they create the most overpower shit that haves no personality just so it can solos most over fictional universes.
i dont think so, its probably because they want to have something more open than the limits of a comic. The comics only have at max like 7D as a limit, SCP is basically removing the limit to infinite possibilities. As well as adding more creativity to what the comics are.
By the way, some of the characters are literal concepts above comprehension so duh... And if you actually did some of your own research to get the whole story of eveything, you would know that there is an actual background for most characters/objects/things
