This ship is called a RORO, or roll-on roll-off. This type of ship is used to transport all types of vehicles and are very common. en.wikipedia.o...)

Hard to believe that most ships are at sea.
Ikr, I thought my lego ships were the only ships in the world, and the ones in my local dry Dock

I'm pretty sure most ships are under the sea or in dockyards
What about spaceships?
That’s a MARAD roll on / roll off ship or roro for short. Owned by the DOT as a reserve navy ship to transport tanks, vehicles, etc..
Car Carrying Ships are designed the same way.
Thank you for explaining this. I've never seen it before!
Thank you for that, this is the comment I was looking for!

Finally.. a ship sailing caught on camera.. indeed a ship at sea.

Its a ship at sea not ships 😁
Now, if only we could do the same for Bigfoot and the Chupacabra.
I still don't believe it why are these videos always too blurry?!??

MV Cape Henry was originally built as a commercial ship in 1979 and sold to the Ocean Transport and Trading Co. with the name Barber Priam. She has 2 sister ships named MV Cape Hudson and MV Cape Horn.
MV = Motor Vessel. The Red, White, and Blue bands on the stack identify this vessel as belonging to the United States Maritime Administration (MARAD).
I sail cape Hudson & Cape Horn in 90’s . Went Thailand a month, Okinawa, Sacebu Japan, Hawaii, South Korea & back SF.

It's a vehicle transport ship, heavy equipment mostly.
@@user-rn3rn6nl3h I'm sure he knows that, & was merely only making a joke out of the massive size of the loading platform referring to it as a pickup tailgate used for tailgate parties.
They call some of this particular kind of ship Ro-Ros. Meaning they are able to roll on or roll off a large part of their cargo.
I heard that "Man in car" and "Bird in air" are in-the-works. Can't wait.

I believe that is USNS CAPE HENRY. She a roll on roll off ship designed to transport heavy equipment, tanks and trucks for the US military. She carries a civilian crew, with a civilian captain. In times of emergency she would be known as USS CAPE HENRY, with a US Navy crew, or a US Coast Guard crew and Captain.
As more and more ships go to sea, they will displace more and more water, causing our oceans to rise. Historical studies show that by the year 2072, this amount of ocean rise could be up to one foot.
I would classify this as a average to medium sized ship.

@@Yorkshiremadmick How in the hell is it a click bait video?
For people who are still wondering this is a transport ship. It’s called a roro, or roll on roll off. I believe that this ship is still owned by MSC or military sea lift command. Which is under the department of defense. They mostly do logistics stuff for the military but aren’t considered military ship, so that the can be maned by civilians. If I remember right the shipping company Mattson leases this class of ship sometimes from the US government, making them more useful then just sitting around. I have worked on this exact ship when it came in for repair/upkeep. The back end will fold down to make a ramp and then behind that there is basically a huge garage door that opens to what is essentially a parking garage (like ones in major city downtowns). With multiple levels for vehicles, tanks, or other goods to be stored. There really cool to walk through and are really nothing more then a floating parking lot.
Omg! It floats … what a video!
😂😂😂👍
There’s just something about the ocean that causes a dual emotion of both awe and scared to death 😂😂
For me it's purely scared lol
Yeah could you imagine being in the water about 5' below and directly behind the props on that just as you see them both stop and clunk into reverse? 😬😳😱↗️🤯
Да вы правы есть такое в океане. Оно тихое, быстро, хлоднокровное и живёт этот страх в темноте океана.
If it would have been up to me and me alone, we'd all still be in our original countries. The balls it took to get on a sailing ship and cross the ocean without even an inkling of a rescue plane looking for you, let alone a ship to pick you up. Everytime I see the ocean it reminds just what a pusshole I am.
I was just telling my brother this the other night. The balls it took Columbus, to set off in a direction uncharted in a time when Flat Earthers we're a majority, well that is crazy. Even more crazy, was Spain backed his adventure and threw MONEY behind it. Again, at a time, when FLST EARTHERS WERE A MAJORITY. It's what they taught their kids for crying out loud.
