The deflecting tears just as u had guessed gives u the good old sekrio deflect mechanic. U simply have to time ur block against enemy attacks resulting in 100% damage negation. (Doesn't necessitate a shield either, dunno if it negates spells though.)
So if I guard at the right time with like a dagger it would still give 100% damage negation?

Edit: it's 5 minutes lol, honestly they should've just made this a talisman.
It enhances guard counters too if you’re into that. Seems like a cool thing to maybe pair with the Blacksteel Hammer

We can help each other out... there's an ancient dragon smithing stone inside the forge near the entrance... pull the lever that's straight ahead to drop the metal door the left... once you cross over the door, there's another lever immediately to the right... pull that lever and quickly turn around and ride the door up as it closes... smithing stone is straight ahead... you pointed out the forged hammer that I missed... thanks
I'm not sure what you're talking about. There's only one lever in this forge in this episode and it raises the pipe. The second forge has a trick like that but we found the smithing stone and reward there in that episode.
Yeah... that's my bad... it is the other entrance... that's what I get for watching so late... lol

This has left me confused and stuck in the game. However, I really love your videos. Bloodfiend's Arm carried me half way into the dlc. Dope weapon
The Bleed build was VERY effective, I agree. But against a BONE Dragon? Weird.
Go back to the castle, you missed a jail key to the locked gate in the well, to the poison swamp. It's up stairs from the lost grace with the dual wielding knight and you have to jump into window onto a bridge between two buildings.

The ghostflame dragon actually has a few unique attacks and mix-ups that the regular dragons don't. Not that you'd know. Shit.

I killed Bayle first try with the great katana. Quality bleed with higher dex. Storm blade aow. Completely skipped phase 2 cause of the bleed proc. He is shockingly weak to bleed.
Alot of these enemies just seem like dark souls 3 dudes those fly guys are the Flys from the rot paint

They are more puzzle focused mini dungeons. None of them have bosses.

I've been hearing 60 vigor is important. I tested that.... And it definitely actually does help lol. Things don't clap me in 2 shots.
@@TaniaPomalesArt At 60 vigor, getting caught in any bosses combo will still drain your entire health bar. Non combos...I can survive three, maybe four hits. So yeah, I'd say 60 MINUMUM.

Whats your character total level?
I went in at 155, now my character is 167 but I have a good amount of scudutree upgrades and you notice how much they help more so than your rune level. Got past all bosses cowboy has met so far and more. My vigor was right under 50 going in (that was a mistake 😂) and the last 6 levels have all been vigor and some boss combos will still delete the health bar. But once you learn and practice movesets you’ll survive more and get chances for offense.
For pvp, the "meta" won't change regardless. For pve, just do what you want to do. I went into the DLC at RL65, with under 40 vig, and bosses were a struggle; but anything that isn't a boss wasn't too tough. Now, it's around 100, and that's good enough.
Honestly, the scadutree blessings matter way more than levels do, especially when u get above 120.

Hello hello my friend! So I see you just posted "let's play part 8", like a half hour ago. I'm currently following the revisions of episodes, or "let's play" 1 thru 3, 6 hours ago. So where are the revisions for "let's play" 4 thru 7??? Or are the ones posted, good?
He's not remaking the Let's Play since that was his first blind play through. What is being remade is the walk through episodes only, since those are meant to be a guide. Fromsoft updated the game and made significant changes in a recent patch, so he felt he had to redo the walk through episodes.
