    Thank you for doing a 4 string shade and being explicit with the directions. It takes a women to be more detailed. I am more confident to do the stringing now. All the others just did the easy 2 string blinds. I will follow your channel. I just bought the string for I could get a longer length single cut cord that way and didn't get the kit from Amazon.

    Thank you for your video on restringing a 4 string shade. My husband took ours apart about a month or so ago. We just got new string today and forgot how it was put together. Thank you again.

    Very well done video! Haven't had to do that repair yet but I'll look this video up when the time comes. My BIG Question is how do you hold the pictures on the vinyl wall covering? New video idea maybe????

    • @annhay4572
      @annhay4572 3 года назад +2

      Alan, I've been hanging photos/art in my Escape by using fishline that attaches to each of the top two corners of the art and then the fish line runs up along the wall into the cupboard above, then I tie two knots up in the cupboard around two screws to hold the photo/art at the height I want, and then I use velcro simply to hold the photo/art against the vinyl wall. Maybe these women have another idea too, hope so.

      Hi Alan, thanks so much for watching!! We use 3M Velcro Command Strips. They work great and we haven't had anything fall off the walls. I love Ann's idea too!!!

      Hey Ann, that's a GREAT idea!!!! Can we use it in a video? We get this question all the time. We just use velcro command strips but I love your alternative as well!

    Excellent! I'm in my Escape only 6 or 7 weeks a year, but I'll be saving your video for sure. Really great explanation and video, thank you. Where did you buy those kits?

    • @AdventuresInNoMadness
      @AdventuresInNoMadness  3 года назад

      At some point you will probably have to repair one :( You can buy a kit right off of Amazon. We did put a link in the video description for future reference.

    my hubby has been a commercial fisherman his whole life so he does the knots also lol!!!
    although I am the horse person I’ve had horses my whole life so I had to teach him how to tie a horse with being able to be released in case it gets into an emergency situation
    Which a horse Always seems to have that haahaa!!!
    I felt very empowered 😆😆❤️😁😁

    I'm trying to replace the cloth not the string. Any videos on it?

    • @AdventuresInNoMadness
      @AdventuresInNoMadness  2 года назад

      No but if you replace the you will have to restring it unless you buy a whole new assembly

    Well, that did NOT look like fun! But thanks so much for another great instructional video -- if one of my blinds bite the dust down the road I'll rewatch this and do the repair!

      @@AdventuresInNoMadness Well, here I am rewatching this video because one of the strings on a blind broke -- dang it! I was trying to slide a piece of reflectix behind the blind and it broke the string. Ugh. So step one is re-watching your video and working to psyche myself up to tackle it. (Frankly, I think I'll let the shade dangle until we get back from a beach camping trip next week. Maybe by then I'll be ready.) Thanks so much for your helpful videos!

    I probably would have just used 1 string per side and looped it in the spring that way could do twice as much, and wouldn’t have needed a fancy knot 🤷🏻‍♂️
