Today we’re taking a look at my updated Burning Abyss deck profile and test hands for my blind second variation! Have a blast with this one friends!

BA is my number 1 deck of all time. It was the first meta deck I got when I got back into the game years ago. I have both the hand trap and trap BA decks. I personally love the trap version more cause when it works it goes hard but can be bricky at times. But I just love the blackjack combo set up. So fun lol

I think the armor cards are not bad in BA, free draw and interuption when you go first its p good, However I think its better in a version of the deck that is more 3 axis leaning so you can make rank 3's more often rather than a hand trap go 2nd version of the deck.
I want to ask but what do you think about the upcoming goblin rider archetype in tandem with BA? There is the synergy level 3, fiend and xyz, you can start out ba line as normal to get to dante but then can detach from dante for goblin and the goblin themselves are a pretty self contain archetype
I think time will tell, I’m excited to see those cards come out!

any thoughts about upstart goblin to 3 and terror top to 2 now with the recent banlist

I have a question about the side deck:
Why did you opt to play 3 Dimensional Barrier instead of 2 Dimensional Barrier + 1 Trap Trick?
Trap Trick offers some options if you have either Dimensional Barrier/Infinite Impermanence and trap trick on starting hand.
It also thins the deck and gets rid of a card that is dead on Turn 2 if going first.
Or am I missing something.
Desires conflicts with 2 ofs and trap trick… if I were playing the trap variation of the deck then yes I’d play Trap Trick, but not on this version

do you opt to go first if you win die roll?
I always go second… always (unless my opponent makes me go first which you have to read if they will or not)
No it's a blind 2nd you want to go 2nd but iam sure if you go 1st you might be able to pull something off but this deck build is best going 2nd
