Lisa Layne is a SUPERB singer. She stays true to a song's melody, and she doesn't try to "wow" the listener with all those irritating and overdone runs and riffs too many singers use nowadays. I love the catch in her voice, and her clear as a bell vibrato. She knows all about nuance and restraint, and IMO, her singing is absolutely PERFECT.
