One thing I forgot to mention is there are a few questionable plane BRs, like the F4EJ Kai and F4C but overall a step in the right direction. You must understand that even if the BR seems unreasonably high (F4C), the goal here is to get everything away from much worse stuff. Gaijin did drop the ball with not touching the F104 A/C, hence why I think they should just be removed from the game. They were never “good,” only undertiered to make them appear as such. Gaijin is afraid of pissing off their majority of newer players when it comes to certain vehicles, (for reasons idk) as well as overhauling the game entirely. Its why in the past I have said the more they add the harder real change will get. They need to focus on fixing the thousands of vehicles already in game.
There are some weird BR changes with the F-16As as well. The F-16A Block 10 and F-16AJ stay at 12.7 (the same BR as the EJ Kai I might add) while the ADFs and MLU go to 13.0 (the same BR as the F-15A, Gripen-A, MiG-29G, and Belgian F-16A with 9Ms). My guess is they are going to add the AAM-3 to the EJ Kai and AIM-9Ms to the ADFs/MLU to justify these BR changes.
Will I get my SL and RP back for wasting half of my life only to learn this plane was never OP and all it does is prelong the game? People dying to that plane literally have biggest skill issue ever.
The wing rip changes are going to be so amazing for the Ayit, F-104, F-8U-2, F-8E, Kfir C.2, Kfir C.7, F-15s, and other planes with G-overload issues (given gaijin was too lazy to just limit it a bit more). Oh and the stock ARH is absolutely amazing! Was holding off on grinding the AV-8B+ until they implemented this change. Gonna be sweet! The br changes are for the most part, welcome ones. It does have a lot of issues (F-104s not going up), but I think it will all get ironed out in time. Now we just need a 12.3 max BR increase for ground forces.
F-4C at 10.7: * sobbing in the corner * At 10.0, this thing is a gambling addict's nightmare, I take Twin M61's, the CL fuel tank, and all 8 missiles. You can deal with R-60's and AIM-9L's by head-on-ing them and throwing an AIM-9E at it... THEN, you get to light their ass up with 2400 available rounds of 20mm. They basically never survive because they saw the flareless F-4C and thought it would be a free all aspect kill and don't plan on needing guns in the head-on... it is too fucking funny! As for the gambling part, that is the other 15 matches where you couldn't get your nose towards the 20-30G missile and eat it... You can have 10-15 bad matches in a row and then a 8 kill game. This plane has ruined my sanity. (I don't take head-ons in any other plane, this plane is a straight-up meme!)
They literally did nothing because they moved up everything so the MM is practically the same. The F4C is now 10.7 like how in the Heck, no weapon changes, nothing. Aim7D was nerfed into the ground and 11.0 is just not used. Oh and F104As are now just Meta AF since everything that bullied them are not in its BR range.
They need to leave my poor Vark alone, the thing was already losing bases to F4S due to how bad it’s takeoff was. Poor f111 couldn’t get anything because it was just to slow to catch up with the better acceleration of the phantoms not to mention the phantoms could take 8 missiles (4aim7s and 4 aim9(p?)and get a base while the f111 got 2 aim9Bs and had to look for scraps

The F-104A/C should be phased out. As much as I love the plane irl 9.3 is too high of a br (up-tiered to 10.3 often) and 9.0 to 8.7 would be too low of a br. Before I get berated for skill issue, hear me out. No flares, to fast for its own good, aim-9bs only. The F8U which was introduced in 1957 uses aim-9d in game. The F-104 was introduced in 1958 a whole year after and only gets Bs (according to war thunder not sure what they used irl). They need to take them out of the tech tree like they did the Maus, it could become like the BI and be there but just useless meme machine for people that have lost their sanity
I would say add the aim 9m to the f14b, and you could probably move it up to 13.3 maybe even 13.7, the aim54 are very good rn since they nerfed multi pathing, and I would love to have a 9m on my tomcat 😊
Aim54s are only good because people fly straight. Its not multipathing. Ive seen Multiple CCs and randoms die to phoenix’s without doing anything because they think they can just fly straight (or barely change direction) and not die. Multipathing may have helped it but the blame of MPing is a copout
The compression at 7.7-9.7 is hilarious. 7.7s in a full downtier absolutely clap 6.7s like the king tigers, while the 8.7s in a full uptier get to face enemies with apfsds and composite like the T-64B

Honestly, I wish they would have just shrunk the br range of matches (think 10.0-10.7 instead of 10.0-11.0). It really seems like they just slapped this list together without much thought. They have an established br for most vehicles that they have come to after years in some cases. Going off the rails and just changing things randomly won't end well. Also the f5c being at 11.0 is a joke, is has no business being just one step behind the f4e and the f5e fcu to name a few. Its barely supersonic, only has 2 weak ass missiles for the br, and the guns can be hella inconsistent. F5c 10.7, f5e 11.0, fcu 11.3 imo.

As strong as it is, it really has no business slugging it out with serious SARH missiles. It can't carry an effective chaff pool, it can't catch anything (in an uptier) that isn't dumb enough to dogfight it, and it just does not bring competitive enough air to air missiles. The big reason I called for the match maker to shrink it's range (0.7 instead of 1) is because of how many vehicles are untouchable in a downtier, but absolutely worthless in an uptier. The game is way more fun when you can have a vehicle that holds its own in both an uptier and a downtime. I think we have all felt the dred of loading into your 4th full uptier in a row. The game just isn't fun when you can't really compete. Another really annoying aspect of playing the game is being let down hard by your team. When the downtier does finally come, it's heartbreaking to immediately be in a 1v8 situation. Shrinking the range of the match maker would also come with the benefit of a natural push towards smaller matches. In my opinion, what vehicles like the f5c or the av8b+ or the f104a need right now is less full downtiers without also having as many full uptiers. Everyone in the community can agree that decompression is seriously needed, but taking a shot in the dark at rebalancing everything just won't end well. Better to take their established balance and close the range down a little. What I'm suggesting with the smaller range would basically be the equivalent of proportionally moving everything onto a scale that tops out at 18.7br instead of just 13.7 like they are doing now. I just don't trust gaijin to get the balance right the first time, or fix wildly overpowered vehicles in a reasonable time-frame.
Overall a great change but alot of weird things are there too the F14 is still facing the same jets moslty so its still to low and the f15 even more and the tornados to high ......but overall i like it and i agree over the 104 theyre a ridicolus
F-14a (Early) should be renamed to = F-14A (late) + give 9L and move it up, F-14 Bravo should get 9M and move on same br as F15A since they are practically on same power level weapon wise

No gun doesn’t fix below average radar and no flares. Yeah you could use rockets as pseudo flares but its still just not good. F8E is a far better jet that can actually dogfight its opponents if it needs to as well.
@@SteelxWolf radar works fine, especially up high where you should be anyway, and the sidewinders are great for catching people not paying attention. The speed advantage you have over everything without the gunpod means staying completely out of the way of things with dangerous IR missiles is so easy. Not to mention anything but slow ground strike planes are carrying easy to dodge IR missiles anyway. I never catch myself in a situation where only flares would bail me out, so this isn’t a problem. Last time I checked I think a I have between a 3-4 KD in the 4C. Saying it’s bad is simply a skill issue. Phenomenal aircraft
Man I’m with you until you said that F-104A/C comment. I love my interceptors and honestly I think putting it at 9.7 is plenty fine, maybe 10.0 now that the F4C is higher. I like my interceptor fighters and I want the rest of my century series, AIM-4 Falcons, and my Beloved Foxbat. Don’t yuck my yum!
The F104 A and C have no place in game at all. They lack good missiles to put them at a feasible higher BR, lack countermeasures for the same reason and bully everything at their BR and below. Why should an entire BR range suffer instead of the out of place aircraft? The foxbat and many other interceptors have various strengths and more advanced weaponry/systems that allow them to function. The F104A/C are nothing but a bullet with 9bs and a gun. They suck, but got an overly cushy BR for no reason. The MiG-19 has agility and rediculous performance worthy of a higher BR. But because it actually can function its capable of staying in game. Anyone who plays the F104A/C is purposely abusing Gaijins reluctance to address regretful additions. No other jet at the moment is as abhorrently a usable as them. Maybe besides the F5C (which is now going up)
@@SteelxWolf I agree that the F-104 is way too low, that’s why I want more aircraft of its type to balance it out and also it has flaws that are not exploited because players don’t know how to counter it. If we add the Deuce, 106, Su-9 and Su-11 (Fishpots) and other high speed interceptors while decompressing the Cold War BR a bit more they will be average and no longer dominating. If you fly the Starfighter in sim, it’s quite balanced, and F-5’s run circles around you and MiG-21’s can easily line up a shot on you.
Anybody saying air rb is a complete mess just a complainer needing to get better at the game. Im able to grind 2-10k rp per match now. As long as i am oaying attention i am able to usually avoid any missile. Those complaining need to improve their skill not the game improve. I did not notice an issue with any plane or br playing the us tech tree. I was able to dominate in all brs against superior planes. Not bc of the plane i was flying but bc of my performance. Same here. You need to actively evade missiles from the start to get your payload off. Might be a2a missiles but you can pretend they are sams. Besides if u enter an enemy airspace you probably will have a similair situation of 20 planes with multiple missiles being launched at your sortie

I don't know if these changes accomplish this, but I would like to see a separation of jets with only Fox-1 Missiles from Jets w/ Fox-3 Missiles.
