Ten 7 was stop #7 of our brewery tour!🥇🥈🥉
Ten 7 Brewing Company in North Wales, Pennsylvania opened in October of 2018. Their name came when one of the owners, Bob Heger, was planning for his retirement from the police force. 10-7 is police code for ‘off duty’ or ‘unavailable’ and the brewery name was born.
Like most craft breweries, they started brewing at home. Unlike most, their head brewer Matt came into their lives as their dog sitter. While he still will occasionally watch their dog, he’s now also an award winning brewer.
Their beers have won multiple awards and the brewery has multiple spots inside and outside to hang out with friends or find new ones. They are also developing a barrel aged program so look out for those in the future.
If you’re worried about having too many beers and having to drive home, they’re brewery is just steps from the North Wales train station.
