My mum.93.had her cat 17yrs.died couple yrs ago.called hers jess(surprise).snooty little thing she was.lovely cat.mum still hasnt got over her today.😪.she watches mine on camera and talks too him.bless her.
I have one of those (also a collarless, indoor job; now 13 yrs old)- I call him either "my little tux-job" or "You silly fuzzy thing." Or sometimes I just look down at him and say "It's all here in black & white." He's the best- extremely well behaved.

Reminds me of my tuxie Socks. A bachelor like me. I rescued him from the streets as a semi-feral kitten. He was the best.
We had one with the classic hitler tache, We called him the fuhrer😀
