What did our wait look like before meeting each other?

My wait wasn’t a wait like @trimygod’s. It was simply about me finding her and her being the right one for me. So I knew I had to do what I needed to do to have her in my life for LIFE. I guess you could say my wait was making the correct steps once I found her to ensure she’d be my wife. It’s been my best decision yet!
Trin- I quickly learned that “having a little fun” wouldn’t serve me. I decided to be very intentional about asking simple questions. The first being, “what are your intentions with me?” And this one question helped me to quickly discern who was and wasn’t worth my time! I enjoyed dating because I didnt date people who were out to “take me down through there.” They were simply likeminded individuals! I strongly suggest that women, especially women who are believers DATE. Why? Because too many of us deprive ourselves of having a choice! You DO have a choice!
We must remember that men don’t make us wives. We’re already wives when they find us, Sis. Keep ya options open. You don’t have to marry the first man that says he wants to marry you. You can be saved and date! It’s okay! We shouldn’t just accept husbands. No, we are not desperate! We should choose them just like they choose us! And choice is not to be confused with pursuit.. Aht Aht. Lol Let him find you. You just be ready to put your choice ahead of just accepting him because he says he wanna be your husband! 🙅🏾‍♀️
