I always figured my blocker wasn't working because I couldn't point to the port it was sitting on, instead of defaulting to 80. It still didn't work, but now I have the bridge/ host setings to mess around with.
Thanks for your video ! I'm new user of CasaOS and i've installed AdGuard Home but after installation process, web interface is not reachable. With your video, i see i need to switch "bridge" to "host" network type of application in CasaOS :D
Thanks, this was very helpful. I would recommend people change the DNS on their routers than just on their devices. I do have a question. How did you enable "Dark theme" of AdGuard at the beginning of you video?
I totally agree with changing DNS on the router :) For the dark mode, I use a Chrome plugin called "Stylebot" and then I wrote some custom CSS to make it look the way I wanted. It's still got some tweaking I'd like to do, but it's pretty close to where I want it.
I’m also preferring adguard over pihole. Do you know how to make host names show up in the clients list? I’ve read about pointing the upstream dns to the router for name resolution but I can’t get it to work
I am running a AGH server on Azure. Can you point me in the right direction to setup a second AGH server with Adguard Home Syn. The guides I found are all docker stuffs.

Once again Linux does not fail to meet expectations. You install Adguard in a Docker, you have to go into the command line to get it operational as something else is 99% of the time already using a port already.

I get error with port 53
then you need to figure out how to disable the built-in DNS service that is using port 53
