I thought something seemed off when the three fairies showed up, so I dug up my own copy of SCC_S from way back. Turns out, the version I have was v0.25, and is almost completely different. Though I don't even know how many years old it is at this point, so that's just to be expected, I guess. edit: Having watched part 2, I see that most of the old spells were reimagined in some way, except for one. Guess Shijimi opted to exclude Muse.
Sanae's 1st card is just a slightly Yasaka's Divine Wind :c kinda sad, but I do like her 2nd card, it's a cute take on her shot types. Overall it feels easier compared to 1? There are some gimmicky cards and blind killers, but overall it doesnt look as hard as 1.
It's absolutely easier. There are less cards in general, and there's no super long multi-phase final spell card like Exteinnsion (though there is a spell very similar to the infamous Makai Genesis Ceremony)
