- In 1923, after hearing a performance of Johann Sebastian Bach’s solo violin work, the Belgian violinist Eugène Ysaÿe composed six sonatas for the instrument that he dedicated to outstanding performers of his time. The technique used in his Sonata Op. 27 no 3 (rhapsodic in nature and dedicated to George Enescu) tied in with the perspectives opened up by Bach, who, by transferring polyphonic writing to the violin, inaugurated a new period in the instrument’s history.

If she only has much better violin that would be amzing.....I love u.....
She does things that do not depend on the notion "better" instrument but things that relate directly to the music. And she would answer that this instrument allows her to best do so. There would be no claim that this instrument allows you to do the same.
