  • This is a short video detailing some useful movement techs and rollouts to enhance Lash's early game damage and preserve his grapples, which are scarce in lane. I start with some more simple rollouts and move onto more complex ones as the video proceeds.
    If theres any good lane ones I missed or people wanna see some rollouts for beyond lane, make it known in the comments.

    As a tip to get on the roof of the left inner lane: crouch off zipline and jump melee on first roof then just Jump and climb (no stamina used) to get to the other roof you can jump dash and melee so it only takes 1 stamina and you can instantly dash jump off the roof

    Great video. Can’t believe I never thought to use mid rollout before. Garage and vent were my bread and butter so I’m glad to add more to the arsenal

    Can get on top of a lot of those stamina free by wall jumping and heavy melee-ing to get back to ledge, IE garage rollout, just wall jump off the orange wall on top and heavy melee to go back towards it and mantle, can do same with lane bridge for example, wall jump then melee for get up stam free

    garage rollout can be done from jumping off the little radiator ac thing on the left, you use the same amount of stamina as you do when you jump from the water tower but it is a bit faster then having to parkour imo. also for your ventpad rollout you can hop off zipline early and make it there pretty quick (compared to just walking there) thank you for the moonjumps, we should swap tips or talk about lash :)

    Man's doing lord work, i'll share one of mine if you wish, see thoses round telephone cabine on blue and green ? well dash jump at the right time on the stair on turn 45° to to do a cornerjump on it and get a good heigh with more agressivity to it. As all moonjump/cornerboost it's not consistent, but when pulled off it surprised enemy quite easily.

    • @ViccValentine
      @ViccValentine  3 месяца назад +3

      Yeah phone booth corner jump. Definitely one of the more consistent ones but still notably fussy. I might do a vid on cornerjumps if I can find a way to make them more consistent but for the moment it’s too easy to fuck up for how much stamina you’re dedicating to it.

    • @VGSpoonium
      @VGSpoonium 3 месяца назад +2

      @@ViccValentine yup, the worst is if you fail you might take yourself right in front of the enemy without stamina, wich is a death sentence.

    • @ViccValentine
      @ViccValentine  3 месяца назад +3

      @@VGSpoonium Worst i lose off a moonjump is some dignity and a single stamina. Cornerboosts are just too fussy for me to recommend currently.

      yes

    • @ViccValentine
      @ViccValentine  3 месяца назад +3

      Same physics yes but notably more consistent. I’ve found corner jumps very fussy, signs work the same way every time and also generally give you better height.
      If you’re a better player than me go nuts and use corner jumps tho.

    • @CripplingMemeAddict
      @CripplingMemeAddict 3 месяца назад

      @@ViccValentine You still just vaulting over and corner boosting of the otherside tho.
      If you want more consistent corner boosts, then only hold W and atleast angle 90 degrees away from the incoming angle towards the wall and you should never mantle.

    • @ViccValentine
      @ViccValentine  3 месяца назад +1

      @@CripplingMemeAddict I’ll have to look into that. I’ll lyk if I find that more consistent

    i can't walljump or corner boost consistently. can you give more specific inputs or advice for the walljumps? i get like one proper walljump for every 20 double jumps (probably less). i can walljump pretty consistently when i'm directly facing a wall and just practicing it in isolation but otherwise i can't do it. i can't do the walljumps from the little signs or anything either.

    • @ViccValentine
      @ViccValentine  3 месяца назад

      Wall jumping works by doing a direction Input *away* from a wall and jumping at the same time. If you get it, you’ll get a white spark effect and a distinct sound effect. Don’t be afraid to mess around in sandbox trying it until you get it.

    • @ViccValentine
      @ViccValentine  3 месяца назад

      As for corner boosts, they’re very fussy, and take precise angles to get right. You’ll have to practice to make them work. I’m still working on getting them consistent myself.

    • @ViccValentine

      You can always tell your team color by either the voice of your patron (woman is sapphire, guy is Amber) or the color of your portrait border also reflects your team color.

    • @VGSpoonium
      @VGSpoonium 3 месяца назад

      patron's voice or map design, amber have a very bricky and orange style and industrial theme, saphire is a more clean, grey and white concrety and more modern.

    I don't mean this to dissuade you in any way but this is very basic lash tech and can be done much easier as well. If you wanna hit me up I can link you to another video and would love to see you work off their concepts for more advanced movement techs

    • @ViccValentine
      @ViccValentine  3 месяца назад +2

      This being “very basic lash tech” is entirely the intention. There’s not a lot of “how to lash” vids out there that don’t already assume you know what you’re doing, so I wanted something a bit more simple for those first picking the hero up.

  • @Dani-of2zu
    @Dani-of2zu 3 месяца назад +1

    all jumps and rollouts here are extremely basic, most people will learn these on their own just by playing like 5 games. do something harder…

    • @ViccValentine
      @ViccValentine  3 месяца назад +5

      Well I’m sorry to have dissapointed so, but not everyone will pick up all these on their own, especially not ones messing with ingame physics like corner boosts.
      The intention was something entry level, so I’m sorry if that disappoints, but it’s obvious this video isn’t *for* you at this point.
