I fell in love with a weird box someone gave me to sit on last night, they pulled out some guitars and asked me to play, I said "I don't play guitar!?", th3y just pointed at the box I was sat on, it wasn't long, I think I'm getting it now, seeing this performance of my favourite kind of sounds, seeing how fine this guy plays, I know what I'm doing for the rest of my life!
Доброго времени суток. Я прошу прощения. Но что надето на пальцы ваших рук ? Что это ? Конкретно) И какой типа тарелок вы используете для ударов ? я хочу их преобрести. Good day. I am sorry. But what is put on the fingers of your hands? What is it ? Specifically) And what kind of plates do you use for strikes? I want to buy them.
Jorge Perez Gonzalez Jorge Perez Gonzalez Yeah, I thought it was really cool until I figured out that there was a sequencer being used for a high hat and shaker, it was a bit discouraging. Cajon sounded nice.
If he's promoting himself to do gigs at electro music events, he needs to prove that he can keep up with a digital beat, which doesn't change, unlike musicians, who can change tempo to suit the pace of other musicians in real time.
How dose being a douche bag work for you? Can you keep half a beat as this guy? Are you a pro? This guy here is top shelf, what are you? I am surprised he bothered replying.
Ive played the Cajon with some bluegrass groups here in NC for a couple years and I love the freedom of not being stuck behind a "kit". Thanks for giving me some ideas and helping to spread the word! Keep it up!
Daddi!!! You nailed it man. Playing, technique, and the production is killer. One of the best percussion videos on RUclips. You are spreading the word of cajon in the coolest way. - Paul. :)
Hey , loving your stuff dude 🤘 in this video are u also playing along with a backing track , also what do you have on your fingers and on your hands ( the black dots )
Vlad Pod this is only a guess, but it might be bands around his fingers to keep them filled with blood so every hit always sounds the same. They would also be heavier so he would be able to use less strength to achieve the same sound. Just a guess, but I feel like I'm on to something. Good question man
I'm sorry. But as a new Player having the Background High-hat sound is deceiving to new players . Makes it seem as of there is high hat sound coming from what you are playing. Your dope AF tho...
Well, it‘s just not a solo, it‘s some good time keeping _play along_ and the mixed in machine sounds make quite a big part of the sound. Hand technique shows he did his homework regarding practice, and for playing cajon this is the main thing.
Absolutely amazing. You are inspiring. I am handicapped and just bought a Roland EC 10. (Waiting on shipping). I cannot really use my right foot, and was glad to see this is all by hand. Thank you for your amazing demo.
Bought myself a cajon a few months back. Just sit on it and jam along to music I like. Very relaxing and I am making progress just by chilling and banging along. Kind of therapeutic. Of course, videos like this make me want to put it away. I kind of wish he has been playing a real solo or using his feet to generate some of those ancillary sounds so I could get and idea of what can really be done without electronic assistance beyond sound processing.
It's ok if he is teaching you how to play a cajon with a backing track. It's cool for me coz I can filter the audio, and just listening what he is playing. If u can't remove the other instruments, then u r not a musician.
What are the things that you use in your hands? And the little stikie thing in the back of your hands? We use a "Cajon Latino" to play in the church every Sunday. But... Yours sounds a much great better! Great performance man! Would you like to share the specifications of the equipment that you use. And some tutorials, please! Jajaa Keep playing with the rithm!
Daddi you are simply amazing dude ! ...... When are you doing any gigs in London, I woukd love to come see you play, I am also a percussionist playing some fusion indian music and have just purchased a Cajon.... you are inspiring ! thanks for the videos and i hope you keep them coming ... CP

I bought one and now I'm prefer to play my cajon....it's so minimalistic...and I love it!!!
What is your mic set up in this video? 3 condensers and a kick mic? Do you know what brand and models? One of the best audio examples & playing i have heard.
FANRASTIC MAN, GREAT SOUND.

the production value of this video is hilarious! nice playing though
That was high level skills there. Great solo & on point presentation and artistry in motion. TY 🎵 drum on

Did u play double stroke on that? Its that rings has do something or just accesories?
what are on your hands? are those contact mics? the circles and the taped up fingers?
Just tape and black dots as far as i know :-)

That's off the fucking hook good

what is it in your hands man ?

its funny how his feet are doing nothing but wearing nice shoes while he needs a sequence with a High-hat..
Nice sound and great quality video though.

Patax or double bass
You're right! That are good looking shoes! 😎👍
Sounds like a samsung commercial
Who plays the hihats? 😄
He could pretty much be doing it.. couldn’t he?
The video became a bit akward or disappointing when the digital hit-hat came in. The dude has his foots free..why not use them for one real hit-hat?
RoncaBaixo i like it like that 😎
Yea, not ry a "solo" now.
If he's promoting himself to do gigs at electro music events, he needs to prove that he can keep up with a digital beat, which doesn't change, unlike musicians, who can change tempo to suit the pace of other musicians in real time.
and the key phrase is "unlike musicians"!! Couldn't have said it more passive aggressively myself!

soooo gooood! i like drumming to a metronome so the hats in the background are a nice touch .
who plays the bassdrum shaker and hihat?
shaker and hihat are played with a sequencer, bassdrum is played by him on the cajon in the video ;)
No, I don't think there is a shaker backing either, just the hi hat
Pro tools
I think there's just the hi hat. It goes on with a sequencer, but it would be even better if it was played by him with his feet
There is a shaker, quite soft.
Daddi Bahmani plays incredibly! I would like to have his speed and rhythm abilities.
