Found a huge scrape & a 5" tree rub and a scrape line right next to my ladder stand! Of course they show up at night lol
Just remember that over 80% of scraping activity happens at night!
Best sign is bedding area scrapes. Way back in the thickets. Daylight scrape sights.
Can't beat sign close to or in bedding areas no doubt!
So I bought a 300-acre hunting farm in Indian head MD. I was wondering if I were scouting and I encounter a scrape should I tie a trail cam to see what happens?

Yes, you want to monitor scrapes especially this time of year. Pay attention to frequency of bucks, time of day, direction of travel etc and that can help you come up with a good hunting strategy for that area! Good luck!
