    I love this pattern! It’s so cute. I would also try to modify it to create a matching sleeping dress with ruffles at the bottom like the shorts.

    A fun afternoon project. Your helpful hint to make gathers was golden. Genius in fact. My gathers turned out even as well. A big time saver. Thank you so very much. I’ll do this again.

      Thank you! There are easier ways to make this as well - like making the top without a lining. That would make it easier (but look a little less professional with raw edges on the inside) ♥️

    Can i make the top with a non elastic fabric? I don't have one, but i don't know if i would be able to put it on😂

    Hi, I'm wondering if your strap length was 13.5 inches (12.5 + 1)... When you went to cut the strap ruffles, why did you use 16 inches to calculate the lenth? Shouldn't it have been 13.5 x 1.75? I wonder if I missed something...

    • @JessicaShaw
      @JessicaShaw  8 месяцев назад +3

      Hi!!! Oh wow, I’m so glad you mentioned this! I didn’t even catch that 😂 I just re-measured my strap and it was 16”! So I was incorrect in saying 13.5”. I think I originally thought it was 13.5” but then quickly realized I should make it longer haha. Sorry about the confusion!

    um im a beginner, why are we folding it and cutting?

    • @nahla9284
      @nahla9284 Месяц назад

      is it because we need two pieces that are symmetrical?

    • @JessicaShaw
      @JessicaShaw  Месяц назад

      Yes!! So that everything is symmetrical! Also easier to cut.
