Hello, have a suggestion for the gap between the bumper,( good job on that), and the tailgate would be "Line o Fire" LED strip light. Could create quite a nice reflective glow at night with that chrome bumper. Cheers
That would be a great location for a light! I know Garrett has made a steel filler panel to close up the gap as well for a couple of local trucks but the LED would be a simple add on too
I just received my new taillights I ordered and was thinking hmmm I should really look into getting a new rear bumper. A few minutes later I open you tube and this video is the first thing that popped up in my feed. Just placed my order and also secured the bumper. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out
Nice! 🤔 just a idea, Do u think this would fit over a rollpan..i know i would have to cut some holes for bumper brackets and my rollpan has cutout for plate. so I dont think the plate box would hit it..im thinking the upper part of rollpan would cover up most of that gap between tailgate and bumper...
Garrett is working on something like that! I think if you already have a pan it could be cut and modified to work, but we’re hoping to make a filler that won’t cost as much - stay tuned!
Awesome 👍 that bumper fits a step side bed as well?? And may you guys ship the bumper with the custome cut to install a rear license plate?? with the braquets also?? So a whole package, may you??
Moving the bumper up will make the tailgate hit it when opening. That gap isn’t as noticeable in person but it’s definitely there. The stock rear bumper has a plastic lip that hides the gap- might be possible to make something similar that mounts under the top of this bumper?
Here’s a link to one I found: www.carparts.com/details/Ford/E-250/Replacement/2005-2014/7528.html?TID=gglpla&origin=pla&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIudP65KzdhAMVPzbUAR0TFAmtEAQYASABEgJZSvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
I think this bumper would be too wide for an s10, but I’d love to see you narrow it up to make it work! We have universal mounting plates for the DIY guys out there- they’re on our site for $30/pair
The 99-06 Silverado body style has more curve across the back so I don’t think this bumper would be a good fit. 88-98 is the year span for half ton OBS trucks, but they kept that body until 2000 for 3/4 and 1 ton trucks and the Tahoe/Suburban. Good old GM and their year model breaks!
The brackets won’t fit directly, but the bumper width should be similar. If you decide to install one definitely send some pictures our way- I’d love to see it!
I just completed all my work on my bumper from trickd Toys .... This video is way too long and still missed a lot of important stuff on specs and close-ups The videographer if that's right. Word did a terrible job of capturing what needs to be done
Sorry you didn't like the video. Maybe you could post one that covers some of the finer details that we missed? I'd be happy to share it if you put something together.
the tailgate looks nice, would like to learn more about that

Absolutely! We have their products on our site, and he’s started his own as well at www.trickdtoys.com
Can you do the brackets to fit on square body c10??
Does he has a template for the front bumper that fits more snug up than OEM bumper?
Started the video and IMMEDIATELY knew what you were driving. I have a G8 AND an OBS
LOVE my G8! Wish GM had built them better, but I’ll just keep fixing interior stuff I guess haha
@Twisted Images I haven't had too many issues with my interior to be honest, minus my seat adjustment panel .
What brand are those brake lights?
They look clean.
Do you have a video on how to make the rear door handle, excellent job
Looks awesome
Just ordered
Thank you!
Which bumper did you go with. I see places saying 92-14 are the same and other places say different
@@juniemade9712 honestly I have got a bumper yet, but I will get one that is 2005-14

Looks clean... but is there a way to lessen the gap below the tailgate? Can the bumper be mounted a little higher?

I'm curious if this conversion will work on my 02 nbs fleetside. Oh, and real quick, the obs body style ends in 98. Not 2000
The 99-06 Silverado body style has more curve across the back so I don’t think this bumper would be a good fit.
