Mallika Srinivasan was born on 19th November 1959. Currently she is the CEO of tractors and farm equipment TAFE and also called "Tractor queen."
She is the core member of BRICS WBA
She won National leadership award and first business woman of the year award for India in 1999.
She did her MBA at the Whartan school of the university of pennsyivania. After completion of a degree she returned India and and thought to develop her father's business but her father did not like her opinion because without having any degree his father developed business.
She felt sad but later she started doing work in his father's business where she expected a great recognition but she did not get it and her office has a partitioned end of a hallway with no windows are doors. She expressed dissatisfaction to her father and she continue to work She learned tricks from seniors and colleagues they recognised her mistakes and she corrected those mistakes.
She did not feel sad on her father words rather she used them as a force of inspiration.
She started with innovative techniques and introduced modern technology in the company and grew the business.
In 1960 TAFE was founded then they used to manufacture 7000 tractors a year. Leater she did it in just 15 days and she took the net worth of the company from 86 crores in 1986 to 5800 crores in 2010.
She introduced new models and became challenging to the competitors. She insisted in research and development.In short time she set up manufacturing plant in the Turkey in 2010 and tied up with AGCO corporation.
She want a leadership award for designing and developing farm equipment which are relevant to Indian farmers.
In 2010 she lost her father who was a good motivator, advisor etc soon after She sister and mother. Even then in that Greek situation she worked hard and managed the birthday of the family business with dignity and grace to fulfill her father's dream.Her life is an inspiration to so many employees.
