I don't know why but the "Aahhh!!" got me the hardest both times, laughing so hard from it.

@@wingedbluj1674 I didn’t like that either I wish it had articulation in the hands and it just holds the staff in like a hole. Also how did he get this it apparently doesn’t come out until next year I really want this figure but it’s not even out yet.

He’s one of the original Primes. There were no jets, shuttles, spacecraft, or really any other tech in the universe other than themselves. So what would he turn into? Nothing. It would be a simple mode to get from point A to point B, and this figure has that lol

Exactly. They only turn into regular vehicles to blend in. Look at the protoforms and Megs from the first two movies. That's one thing I actually liked about the Bay designs. Cybertronians are completely different in their natural state
Exactly, He quite literaly gets around by just teleporting and flying around in robot mode. I never expected it either, I'll be real.
But what I did expect and am Entirely thankful for is the "GIVE ME YOUR FACE" gimmick. They know their audience, they know how memed that scene is, as is Optimus' brutality in general, so they gave us that lovely bit of fanservice.
I will say though, that staff is a little bigger than i thought it'd be, as is the figure himself- but I swear to god that giant stick wasn't nearly as big in the movie as it was here, relatively speaking. It's too big to even fit in any other figure's hands, it's thicker than the 5mm standard. if the Fallen and his staff were a little smaller, perhaps it'd work then. but unfortunately I think they made him and the staff just a tad too big.
Not to mention he almost got an alt mode from a stealth fighter but they scrapped the idea and just left him in his cybertronian form
Dude they actually know how to do great windowless boxes that artworks sick
Fun fact if you shine a flashlight into the fallen, you can actually see that he’s partially translucent and you can see the joints inside of him which is even more cool!

The Fallen and others like him don't transform, though. I don't understand how they screwed that part up so badly.
I was thinking, you should of had Masot rip his mask off and say "Give me your face!!"
Just looking at this, I think the desginers looked at the original figure and asked themselves "How can we improve upon this?"

Another Great Review Emgo! I especially loved the Jokes at 6:15 and 14:52. Amazing Jokes for Halloween. Honestly The Fallen's Vehicle Mode reminds of your Review of Transformers Prime Unicron and Transformers 2007 Scorponok. Because all of them are Transformers that didn't transform in the Movies or Show and Hasbro needed to have them turn into something because "Transformers". Honestly I think they did the Best they could in coming up with a Alt Mode for The Fallen.
One of the few redeeming qualities of ROTF is Tony Todd's voice work for The Fallen
I am actually gonna keep the box intact so if I ever have the chance to meet Tony Todd I will have him sign it. He is one actor I would love to see return to the transformers universe and possibly voice Unicron

@@zakkmylde1712 he is really well know for playing otherworldly villains, from Candyman to the Fallen, to recently Scareglow. Adding Unicron to the mix would be really cool and he would pull it off flawlessly

I can't wait to get the fallen this fall! Honestly the fallen was such a cool design and the last main villain transformer figure for the stuio series line is TLK Megatron
As far as the original figure goes, there were actually multiple releases, there's the original and a blue coloured one where you could actually remove his face
There’s an exclusive with red and fire colors
Unfortunately the blue one is really rare now, but thankfully now it's obsolete now with this excellent figure.
My Fallen arrives over the weekend, and this video only makes my excitment grow! Love the review and I love you my man Emgo, never stop being great.

I'm so confused, shocked, and amazed that the engineers were like "yes we must have his helmet be able to be ripped off" and then someone else went "we also need to have his jaw articulate so you can have his dying moments after Optimus takes his face"

If you need to fix a loose ball joint and don't have a liquid to tighten it, you can use a piece of tape (cheap clear tape, duct tape might be to much). Make sure the tape is very small and folded. If it isn't a sliver of tape, it will be too much for the socket to hold the ball joint. After you get a sliver of tape, fold the sliver, and place it on the ball joint. You may have to experiment with the tape so you can get the right tightness on your ball joint.
Definitely getting my hands on this one when he comes out.

There's actually a theory that I kinda came up with, so The Fallen's alt mode I believe is suppose to be the ship that we see in the movie when Megatron flies to a Planet similar to Saturn and that said ship is actually the Nemesis. so I think that The Fallen's Alt mode is the Nemesis ship, I could be wrong though it's only a theory

Best skit ever!!! I stopped collecting Bayverse SS but I might have to get the Fallen. Im really digging that alt mode. Has an insectoid jet fighter look to it.
Not a fan of light piping but the use of it makes the jet mode look like it has a thruster so creative use for it
Heh, imagine if those weird arm supports make other Cybertronians think he can't move his arms too much and has a low range/reach.
Then he prepares to fight: the supports pop off and fold away, and he starts showing General Grevious levels of movement range. 😆
Lol :) I just noticed that from 0:15 - 0:30 due to the position of the figure, the box names the figure as "The Allen".
This guy will now forever be known as The Allen as far as I am concerned :)
The fallen megatron and soundwave Are some of my favorite bayverse live action transformers
Blackout, megs 1 and 3, Fallen, Shockwave, Soundwave in DOTM and Bonecrusher ar my fave decepticons

@@Xeno_the_Robot " Locdown isnt technically a deception but hes the closest thing in AOE. That film would have been so much better if he was the sole villain and not Galvatron.
For me Blackouts got to be the best.
He looks so menacing and hulking, has a cool alt mode, was OP and had to be nerfed,a nd his head is the decepticon logo
Hes also symbiotically linked to skorponok, and responsible for the best scene in the movies IMO.

@@dylanburston7453 thanks also I never saw that but now that said it yeah he does have the decepticon logo and the reason I love decepticon jetfire is cuz he although being a decepticon he is all about honoring his enemies and would never ambush or surprise attack anybody ever you need to respect that about him

Imagine how good ROTF could have been if it actually had a script.
Its such an accomplishment and speaks volumes about the people who worked on the CG in ROTF were able to match the quality of work they did in the first Movie during a writers strike, when they didnt even know what characters would be where after all the pratical stuff.
For comparison, Ororgins wolverine came out during the writers strike as well, and they couldnt even o his claws properly, and the transformers guy managed to create dozens of intricate desighns
Finally Fallen stood up and is back in his Full glory.
Always really liked the otherworldliness (even by TF standards) of this design, and this looks like the best version yet. I'll still give vehicle mode to the Voyager but that's not what you'd get a Fallen figure for anyhow.
And yeah, I crowed when you cut to a closeup of his face. The fact they also remolded the original toy for that morbid little touch is the funniest shit...

Fun fact on January i met the guy who worked on movie 1 and he was looking at this toy at my local target he told me his cousin worked in mandalorian. I didn't get his name but he told me they recorded in Arizona for the blackout scene.

Today I just picked up the studio series the fallen legacy inferno and legacy starscream and I'm very happy with them also I got rise of the beasts air razor from Amazon
Great review, not a fan of the design or character but they did a much better job matching the movie. I think my favorite part of this figure is you love it or hate it. There really is no in between. Unless they did a light run, I see him at sub $30. by the holidays. I just hope collectors get him and he holds together in the long run.
He's sold exclusively in Europe so a lot of people will try and get him through the States, meaning he will get sold out pretty quickly in my opinion. Will order him tonight cause of that. I genuinely like the design of this character, though I am not particularly a Bayverse fan
