Does your family happen to have a compost pile? Your soil looks very clay-heavy, which is harder for plants roots to grow in, and if you amend your soil with compost it will improve the texture and make your future crop yields much better. Edited to add: If it happens to get windy where you are, I recommend cutting a couple half-circle flaps on both sides of the roof curve to allow wind to pass through so the plastic won't be torn apart. And if you put the plastic walls up before the roof next time, your seams will be leakproof. Great job!
