i'm glad the video was helpful. to get the best results from any short cycles, i suggest following two main guidelines: 1 - avoid overloading - check the program table in the manual for the maximum load for each cycle. don't exceed this load size or performance will be impacted 2 - use the cycle for its intended purpose - these short washes are designed to quickly wash lightly soiled items. don't expect heavily soiled items to get fully cleaned from such cycles. hope these guidelines are helpful. any further questions, just ask.
I have an indesit iwdc6125 washer dryer. When trying to use any mode the top 4 lights flash green. Start/pause flashes orange. And the bottom 4 lights are all on solid. End light is solid red. Any ideas?
i think it's a board fault. judging by it erroring when you do anything at all... plus, i can't figure out an error code from this combination of LEDs (although hotpoint\indesit are known for being very unhelpful with their error codes). the closest code i can get is F12, which is board-related.
it depends how much you're willing to spend. if you got it second hand, the replacement board probably isn't economically worth doing. especially considering you may need to swap both main and control boards, plus a faulty board is an assumed diagnosis based on indesit's unreliable error codes.
Thann you for this. I like to clean my washing machine with the correct washing machine powder cleaner. Is there a specific mode to put it on to? Cheers.
if your model has a dedicated cleaning cycle ("autoclean" on hotpoint\indesit), use that. otherwise, select a cotton-based 90\95° cycle (white 90° on hotpoint\indesit)
So stupidly I used soap flakes in my washing machine I dilooted it like it said but I think I've usted to much, I cleared the filter that was all jelified soap flakes and there is a hole by the side of filter that is clogged with it to but unable to inclogg it what do you suggest?
people won't be coming to a "service mode tutorial" video to find out what cycle they want to use. they would go to an "all programs + options" video for that. don't fall into the trap of throwing everything on the shortest wash. they are designed for very lightly soiled, very small loads. program 2 is 1h35 which is, to a lot of people, a reasonable length, allows more temperature variation, and allows a full 1200\1400 spin.
they're programmed to stop several times on each spin. that's normal. as for the drying, it can't be selected on all cycles, if it's flashing while trying to select it, then it means it's not compatible with the cycle. however, if it's stopping and flashing in the middle of a running drying cycle, you may have a faulty dryer box (fan, element or NTC).
Hi, my machine machine washes for a while, then on 6h, it goes back to 3h and starts beeping wight a flashing light on the 3h constantly, what could be the error with it?
this could mean one of two things: 1 - if it's just the 3h\wash light flashing then this indicates the machine is struggling to take on water 2 - if the 3h\wash led is flashing as part of a complete error code, then this is F08 which indicates a potential heater fault option 1 seems more likely considering you say it's on 6h inse when the error occurs. if it completes the wash fine but fails on rinsing, you might have an intermittent fault with the inlet valves.
Hi, I have Indesit IWDD7123. 7kg+5kg washer dryer. When I put it on Spin in an attempt to dry the clothes further, it fills with water. The drying cycle options are 11 ( cotton) and 12 (synthetics). After 3-4 hours the clothes come out steaming wet. I thought it was because I put too much clothes, but the result did not change on adding much less clothes (1/4 capacity). It seems to pull water even though it’s on a dry cycle. And I have put it on the driest option with no improvement. My landlady tells me this is normal. What is your opinion on this steamy but wet clothes ?
taking water in during drying is normal as it's used for the condensing process. however, clothes coming out wet is not normal and indicates that it's probably not able to drain out water properly. it most certainly should not be taking water in during a drain\spin cycle. washer dryers are more than capable of drying clothes fully. something is wrong
Hii, I have a question. I just go an indesit BDE 76435 9WS EE washing machine, it' not quite like this one in the video, therefore I'm not sure how to set it on Auto Clean mode. Does the first ever wash cycle have to be a safety wash, or will I be okay if I set a random cycle with just no clothes on, with detergent in it? I don't wanna mess my new machine up. Thank you in advance!
Silly question: when counting the binary digits to calculate the decimal error code, which LED is the MSB? In other words, do you read it from the top or the bottom?
from the top down, it reads 8, 4, 2, 1, 16. so on this indesit it would be as follows: wash = 8 rinse = 4 spin = 2 drain = 1 end = 16 rinse and drain on together indicates F05 since 4 + 1 = 5
@@thelaundrycookie1200 Thanks! I had the rinse light blinking and the beeper going off every 5 seconds (the start/stop light was steady), so I assume it was an F04. Hi my washing machine starts, water starts to flow (two sequence) but doesn’t move after that like rotate, but rather all the lights start blinking. Please what can I do thanks
the flashing lights are an error code. if you could tell me which of the wash progress LEDs are on\blinking, or send me a video of it, then i can help with what error code is being displayed. from what im hearing, it sounds like you've got a motor fault. so if your model is brushed, you probably need to have the brushes changed. and if your model is brushless, you probably need the inverter board looked at. this could still be a faulty main PCB though. the error code should hopefully point us in the right direction.
Hello, my machine starts, it fills with some water and then it stops. At first, the same had happened but it was also beeping the first light. Now, ( cause i have tried it some times), not even the beeping is happening. Do you have any idea?
for how long roughly does it stop? does the light still flash even now it's not beeping? the first light flashing indicates the machine isn't detecting any water. meaning a faulty pressure switch or disconnected pressure switch hose.
I have an issue with an idesit machine, it’s showing f05 and if i unplug it and plug it back on it will just show the program but the door is locked. Is there anyway i could unlock the door in this case without fixing the f05 error?
since f05 is a drainage error, it's unlikely the machine will unlock by itself without some of the water first being drained out. however, on some models there's an emergency door release tab at the bottom, underneath the kickplate. if yours has one, you can pull that down and the lock will release until you let go of the tab. don't do this is the water level is higher than the drum rim though.
@@thelaundrycookie1200 thanks for the swift reply! Yea i am aware that it won’t release the door, and i have tried several ways (there is no tab to pull for emergency door unlock as you suggested, and i also tried the trick with using a string to pull open the door). Fortunately, one thing that helped my case (and maybe could help others) is that I left the machine unplugged overnight (around 6 hours ish) and when i plugged it back, initially it showed a locked icon, but after give the door a push (or two) the icon disappeared and the door unlocked itself
im glad you have it unlocked now. judging from this, it sounds likely that the water temperature was the thing stopping the machine unlocking the door than the water level itself. as for dealing with the f05 error, it's definitely worth looking in the pump filter before doing any more washes
I've got a brand new one and the water comes through but then the machine stops doesn't do anything but the timer still goes down (mines a my time one) the door just will not open at all it's stuck on the lock
if you leave it for 2 minutes or so after it fills, it should begin washing. these machines have an unnecessary pause where it does nothing for about 2 minutes after taking in water, before it then takes in more water and begins washing.
@thelaundrycookie1200 I left it for the full 59 mins it just counted down didn't spin or anything said end and its still locked 3 hours later after checked the filter and pipes and nothing
normally if it's not doing anything you'll get an error, which makes me think the drive belt has come off since it's counting down normally but the drum isn't spinning or anything. if you put it on spin, and you hear the motor but there's no movement in the drum, this will be the problem. as for the door lock, that may be a seperate issue entirely. it's a little hard to figure out without seeing a video of the machine or something.
service mode won't fix anything by itself, it just helps you see what's working and what isn't. if you're noticing the drying section isn't working properly, you need to make sure the heating element is working and that the fan is spinning. also look out for error codes popping up during the drying cycle, either as a message on the display or in the form of flashing lights
it should heat up during the main wash. test the heating element by setting the program to white cotton and the temperature to 90°. if you feel no heat at all during the cycle then you need a new heating element.
does it actually complete the cycle though? as it's possible the lock isn't functioning as intended despite being able to lock the door, if that makes sense. failing that, the other explanation is a fault on the PCB.
