When I see people like this, with such a high level of callousness, I am very confused as to how they can sustain long term relationships to begin with. At some point this cold and callous personality must come to the surface, yet he managed to marry not once by twice! I think my point is, how can someone this callous “love” someone and even get into relationships such as marriage? I will probably never understand... Brilliant analysis as always Dr. Grande!❤️
Yes I think it's so interesting, I'm sure he was very warm and charismatic at first, and I have no doubt the callousness would have emerged, but I think many people can spend a lot of time waiting for the wonderful person they first met to come back. You get so attached to the person's 'good' side that you can't bring yourself to accept their negative qualities. Also women are generally conditioned to be caregivers and give their partners the benefit of the doubt so I think there could be a lot of reasons why someone could end up staying with an abuser til it's too late, despite them openly shifting into their true selves during the relationship. Also found it hard to believe this guy could possibly be 'intelligent' given how many stupid mistakes he made with his crimes but maybe he was just so arrogant he underestimated everyone around him?

Roger started moaning while Mark was on the phone with police, which caused Mark to claim a crying baby, hang up, & shoot Roger again. But Dr. Grande is 100% correct that the cool move would have been to let the cops hear the noises and believe Zombie Roger was making another move so of course Mark had to shoot him in the head a second time. More than any other modern "family annihilator", Mark reminds me of John List who simply moved across the country, changed his name, and remarried after killing his sickly mother, his wife & their 3 children.
Bailey was only 3 months old when Donna and Roger were killed..and Deanne wasn’t just supposed to be a friend she was considered her best friend and Aunt Deanna to baby Bailey.
If she knew about the allegations, I'd categorise her as a fucking idiot. A harsh but fair appraisal I'd say :) In this case, she didn't know - he was a grieving husband who had suffered a terrible loss as far as she knew. She was also very young.
She didn't know he was just a widower to her. Mark is the one that got himself caught. He wouldn't leave the police alone. The case was closed quickly and the other man was blamed. But Mark HAD to know and kept bugging the police asking for his gun back etc. He did himself in.
This one struck me as a case where he could have gotten away with it. I wonder if Harrington really said those bizarre things. Was this corroborated in someway or could it all have come from Winger?

He married a nanny and not the mistress?! So,that’s why the mistress went to the police! She is absolutely horrible. He was mentioning killing his wife and she didn’t care. But then he gets with someone else and now she’s a concerned citizen. Unbelievable and sad.
It doesn't sound like this sociopath was too bright, not thinking all these "suicides" would look suspicious to authorities.
There is dry humor and deadpan humor and now I have discovered Grande humor. I enjoy all the videos and their topics but the humor gives it that little extra something :-D
This is so sad! It's also more disturbing than some other Cases. I remember when it happened. RIP . 💔💔💔💔🙏🙏🙏🙏
Great video! I was wondering if you could break down Millons subtypes of ASPD and the other personality disorders. I would love to see that series
More than any other modern "family annihilator", Mark reminds me of John List who simply moved across the country, changed his name, and remarried after killing his sickly mother, his wife & their 3 children.
ooo Dr. Grande got a new camera!
Such a crazy story. This guy is a true monster.
Dr Grande it would be interesting if you described a prominent case involving Huntington's disease.
Bailey was only 3 months old when Donna and Roger were killed..and Deanne wasn’t just supposed to be a friend she was considered her best friend and Aunt Deanna to baby Bailey.
I wonder what kind of woman would marry a guy who's been accused of killing his first wife?
Yes, that's a good question.
I dont think he was accused yet bc the police still thought the Roger guy did it
If she knew about the allegations, I'd categorise her as a fucking idiot.
Shit I just about took out a coffee table sprinting (ok, walking slightly fast, let's be real) in for this! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Adorable!
Thanks, Doc.
I hope your fiction book will become an audible book!
Just commenting to help bump Dr G in the algorithm
It would be easier for him to name who he didn't want killed! Good grief...
Smooth ad transition👍🏻
It’s terrible to hear that a man that did nothing wrong can be framed for murder.
Technically he did Harass donnah with his crazy talk. In a way karma you could say. But yes, nobody should be framed for a murder they didn’t commit.
