It lacked a demonstration of Build in practice, but I liked it overall. I currently play with a DD Full Glasscannon Build in WvW, Staff + Dual Pistol. The Vault skill sometimes gives a critical dmg of 15k to 20k, this Build is very good for catching players off guard or for getting into big fights and finishing off several at once
no matter i do i can't do Signet of fury -berserk combo, adrenaline drop to quick. and if i do actually manager to do it The bow F1 skill, again the adrenaline go down,. how iam supposed to do it...
He also says in the video dont always insta open berserker mode, wait little bit so that your necros put some wells and other strips than go full dmg for max efficiency.
from your video guide i noticed that the gear is full marauder set but from the guild jen site it is already berserker with some marauder trinkets which is better?
Excellent video although I only play core warrior and it's the class I like the most, but I would have liked to change the adrenaline mechanics so that not all the specs are the same.
Zerk Is a good class but the majority of its damage is done thanks to scorched earth which only serves to make "numbers" on arcdps each square hits 5 targets in total 25 targets with little damage spread over the entire zerg, it only serves to put pressure and look cool on arcdps. This is my personal opinion, I prefer revenants and reapers as dps that do serious and clean damage on 5 targets. Great explanation of the class as always...❤
Berserker has a huge burst though, double arc divider with signet of might literally downs 5 people alone, while being able to keep pressure on the enemy from range with the longbow. It's true that it looks cool on arcdps, but no other classes can provide that amount of ranged continuos damage
I play Vindi power or Herald as main and for me the first have the best Spike at range atm but people dont play this class or dont play It good... However, it remains my personal opinion, zerk Is meme arcdps class but its newbie friendly class, simple to use rather than messing around with a rev or reaper. ❤
@@erounartista9349 zerk isn't meme arcdps class, and dps isn't all about spike damage. Scorched Earth has amazing cleave, especially on stationary targets (aka downies), as a reaper or rev you're not going to waste your main damage abilities on downed enemies. That's where berserker comes in handy. Also, the amount of hits that it does at range is able to remove lots of aegis so that other classes can actually spike and burst enemies down. I kinda understand what you're saying, lot of people play it to pad the meter but its utility is much higher when played properly has mentioned in the video
Only serves for the numbers on arc or only serves to put pressure? Need to decide. 25 targets is little spread among the zerg? How big of zergs you fight? 60+? Also you missed the arc divider part entirely which is the main purpose of the berserker 30k dmg per target within 2 seconds looks pretty clean. The only other class that is that good melee is vindicator but that needs some skill and is more squishy.
whats with the obsession of pushing strength for longbow, even hardstuck pushes it too, you get no adrenaline on longbow without arms since arms lets your lb burst actually generate adrenaline through critical hits. this is just a greatsword build. =
Strength has strong damage modifiers, while arms offer almost nothing towards damage. However, i posted an Arms variant in the past, which i really liked for the huge adrenaline generation, but the bottleneck is the cooldown on Scorched Earth , you would get basically unlimited adrenaline but often see the f1 on cooldown
@@metallonegw2283 im sorry but thats simply not true, arms provides more crit chance enhancments (before the the furious burst change that trait also made fury give 30% crit chance in wvw same as pve but thats gone now and replaced with crit chance on bleeding enemies). Signet mastery gives you 500 ferocity on 5 stacks thats 33% additional multiplicative damage not sure what you mean by almost nothing towards damage it also farts out vulnerability like its going out of fashion. The comment about adrenaline is a bit fishy, without arms you generate 0 adrenaline unless you have fire sigil and thats only half of a burst, you still need 2 more adrenaline. the bigger the blob the more reflects will stop you from consistently getting that. if you dont take strength you dont need fire sigil which means even more damage for the arms build. Edit: what im trying to say is str/disc build is only good for 2 LB bursts and then switching to greatsword, but if thats viable you may as well just play ham/GS
@@aidanfenton4377 500 ferocity seems a bit unrealistic since you don't run so many signets, but yeah, i like arms, and Longbow is only good in huge blobs where going double melee weapon would be suicidal. Hammer/gs is much more used in organized environments, with disci/strength. I guess .
@@metallonegw2283 exactly, this is why I hate strength LB, it just doesnt make logical sense, with build template keybinds you can swap depending on the size of a group youre facing anyway. also just to point out, 5 stacks is very easy to maintain, you can precast your signets lightyears in advance of a fight, signet of might can generate 2.4 stacks of signet mastery per minute and and signet of fury can generate 3.75, so technically you could permanently maintain 6 stacks but it would be tight, 5 stacks is a non issue.
Man sounds pretty relaxed to me. Can't expect perfect diction from someone who is going through alot of dense information. Anyways thanks for the great guide!
Is the cat we heard a berserker too?
Yes
Nice and clear guide! I'm ready for my zerk gameplay

I will post a gameplay/commentary in the future, the video would be too long otherwise .
DD is really strong in smaller fights, like gvg 15v15.
What is your advice on this same build with a poor Exotic player?
Ascended gears give a small damage boost, like less than 10% . Exotic works super fine.
Would longbow zerk do more dmg as a condi build? Or would the amount of cleanses make dot burning bad?
Super bad, condition is unplayable in zerg fights
no matter i do i can't do Signet of fury -berserk combo, adrenaline drop to quick. and if i do actually manager to do it The bow F1 skill, again the adrenaline go down,. how iam supposed to do it...
Signet of fury must be used while in combat , so just wait for getting hit once or hitting once, then do the full combo ;)

If you don't use the precise infusions, you need full marauder+fury+berserker mode (5% crit chance trait) to reach ~100% .
@@metallonegw2283ok ty and awesome video guide btw👍
I really wish people would put a link to the guild wars build editor....
I don't do it because otherwise people copy paste the build without knowing what to do
Why assume all people, some people know what to do, c'mon

Do you play it in zergs?
@@metallonegw2283 Suddenly but I only play to finish off the fallen but I play with the rifle. :)
why would the might be doubled? chance to get might while wielding a gs is 100% on a crit, 50% on a crit with anything else...pretty self explanatory
I showed the Wiki page and read it
no energy is derp
Don't forget Hammer 😁
True, but in pugs that hardly works

this is not a competetive build or playstyle.. remember to specify for zerging context
The title says WvW and Squad , of course it is for zerging
If only... If oooonly Anet hadn't taken away the three spins on Arc Divider 😢
Regardless. Amazing and easy to understand guide, tyvm, man!
Arc divider feels less satisfying now, but having to land a single hit instead of 3, while having the same damage, is huge .
yeah but... it doesnt do the same damage at all@@metallonegw2283
